wannabecruiseexpert
I’m debating if I should get the beach day bed “excursion” which from my reading appears to be at Adrenaline Beach. I’ve read this part is rocky and is mainly for suntanning only. All of the cabanas are sold out so I want the bed with canopy to offer some sun protection but I want my 4 year old to be able to play in the water. Any advice? FionaMG
Honestly, you don't need the day bed. Go to Columbus Cove. There is plenty of shade there under the trees and the employees will set you up with loungers in the shady spot of your choosing. Obviously, the earlier you get there the better choice of spots you will have. The beach at Columbus Cove is nice and sandy, so it will be perfect for your little one to play in the water. Firefly
Another vote for Columbus Cove. There are plenty of loungers under the palm trees available, especially if you get there early. The water is much calmer than the other side where the beach beds are. Keep an eye open for the Beach Bungalows there too. We had one last year in June that we picked up on sale for $250 - best money we spent. There are only 8 available, so they can book up quickly.
