Sometimes I use the zip plastic tie things... Cant remember what they are called. It won't really keep anyone out but you can see if someone was in your luggage and might slow the casual thief down. Jane And when it comes to purses/carry ons when overseas, I have been told that using a safety pin to secure zippers tends to discourage pick-pockets. fonemanbob Posted July 21, 2019 Report Share Posted July 21, 2019 Overseas men should put their wallets in their front pockets and women should have their purse in front of them. Pickpockets avoid making eye contact when at all possible.. As far as locks go they are easy to pick and there are not that many mater keys needed to open them.
