Question on suite perks

Recommended Posts

I'll be sailing in March on Freedom of the Seas and staying in a two-bedroom Grand Suite. We have traveling companions who are staying in a Junior Suite. I know we have access to the Concierge Club, with they also be able to use it? Also, what's the best perk of being in a suite? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Grande Suite and higher are able to use the lounge. Best perk IMHO is the sunset sail away party on the bow of the ship. Enjoy.

No. This is reserved for suite guests and pinnacle level.

And this can be frustrating, on a past cruise I booked at the last minute, I wanted a Grand Suite but all that was available was the Junior Suite, so I booked it hoping someone would cancel, no one did.

Don't get me wrong, the Junior suite is great, but when you are used to the Suite perks and can't have them it kind of stings every once in a while.

Best perk for me is the priority dis-embarkation, the Suite Concierge escorts you off the ship and through customs and you by pass all of the lines in the building, 10-15 minutes and most of that is walking off of the ship. Suite lounge is pretty awesome also.

Here is an example of what if offered when staying in a suite (for non-OA class ships).  What is considered to be the best perk may vary from person to person.

·        A la Carte Breakfast served daily in Chop’s Restaurant on Sea Days from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and in Port days from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
·        Daily menus displayed and pre-ordering for your dinner wine.
·        Limited VIP lounge chair set-up near the Pool Bar area between Decks 11 and 12 ( no chairs reservation ).

·        Reserved VIP seats for production shows the suite area will be open 15 minutes prior to show time (please show Cruise Director’s staffs your Gold SeaPass card at the entrance).

The Concierge Lounge is a private area accessible on a 24 hour basis with your Sea Pass Card.

Thanks. Will our friends staying in the Junior suite also be able to attend the sail away party?

This is a great suite perk, but I don't think that it is available on Freedom.  The suites sail away party is usually for Oasis class.
