Kurtp13 Posted December 18, 2018 Report Posted December 18, 2018 Certain countries/Port locations are known for local items that are low priced to pick up when visiting. Like in Cozumel I would pick up vanilla or Kaluwa. Or in Jamaica I might get rum or coffee. San Juan i would get Rum also. Is there anything like this to get while in Nassau? Quote
Matt Posted December 18, 2018 Report Posted December 18, 2018 Nassau is best known shopping wise for handmade straw pieces, conch shells or carved wood pieces. If food is your thing, rum cakes or guava jams and jellies. Quote
timorg Posted December 20, 2018 Report Posted December 20, 2018 A previous neighbor of mine got a good fish wood carving from Nassau! Worth checking out Quote
FloridaCruiseGirl1210 Posted January 8, 2019 Report Posted January 8, 2019 Tortuga Rum! You can't buy the rum in the states. When I was there in november they were running an offer buy a bottle of rum get a free bottle of vodka! dilywy 1 Quote
