  1. Good day RC blog Community~ I am looking for a clarification so I don't cause family un do stress when I partake in the security protocol before boarding. I drink water & copious amounts of it. I am particular about the taste and was not a fan of the water on board the Harmony this past sailing. (I'm a big pain, I know) So on my Mariner sailing embarking in PC I believe we may bring (12) twelve 16 oz bottles each in our carry on, nothing to be packed, is this correct? Does the package have to be wrapped as purchased or may I separate the bottles and place strategically within my carry
  2. This is our first ever back to back cruise, our first as diamond, our first cruise on Mariner and out first visit to the newly renovated Coco Cay. We chose this cruise for the ship and the chance to visit Coco Cay since it seems EVERYONE has already had the opportunity. We managed to get the same aft corner balcony for both legs of the cruise so that is a definite bonus. I will try to keep this up as we cruise but I am also trying to focus on relaxation. I will begin at Day 0 in my next post.
  3. It is finally my turn for a return trip on Mariner! Last time on Mariner was for the Double Dip to CocoCay Royal Caribbean Blog cruise. Hard to believe that was over 7 months ago!
  4. Hello! I am thinking of booking a 3-night cruise on Mariner or Navigator. They both go to CocoCay and Nassau. Should I go on Navigator or Mariner? Thank you!
  5. Hello! I’ve heard a lot of people talking about the 4-night cruises on Navigator and Mariner that have 2 stops at Cococay. Does anybody have dates for these special itineraries? I might be interesting in booking them.... Thanks
  6. Ok RC Blog family...normally I am not so indecisive but I'm really struggling with this one. Trying to decide between a JS on Deck 11 or Deck 9 on Mariner. Here's what I have so far: Deck 9 Pros: mid ship, buffered in between decks with staterooms only Deck 9 Cons: balcony is "metal box" like and it doesn't have the glass panels Deck 11 Pros: brand new addition, clear glass balcony, possibly more storage (saw this on an Adventure scope) Deck 11 cons: possible noise from gym and solarium, very forward so not sure about motion (we are a bit sensitive to motion). It's bee
  7. March 16, 2019. Mariner of the Seas made history this morning by becoming the first ship to dock at the new pier at CocoCay. The ship docked in the dark and secured her lines following a brief pier test last week. Last week’s brief pier trial docking occurred after the ship spent the day tendering guests to the island. The ship spent a few minutes at the pier before continuing on with her regularly scheduled departure from Cococay. Today for the first time guests will disembark visiting CocoCay using the pier and experience a soft opening of a couple new Perfect Day featu
  8. Hi all! I have been actively reading all of the Cruise Compasses and know that the dinners in the MDR have themes. I’m really curious about what is actually on the menu for those dinners, and even an idea of what is available to breakfast and/or lunch in the MDR interests me. Does anyone have photos they’ve taken of the menus? Or some great recollection and is willing to give me some info? Thanks!
  9. Hello fellow cruisers! We just returned from our vacation on the Mariner of the Seas. I wanted to do a review, and hopefully answer any questions you guys have about the cruise. I will include information regarding restrictions for age/height for the on-board activities, since I did not find many answers to these questions before our cruise. About us: Me (the mom, and planner of all family vacations!) My husband, (the dad, and the one that does not want to know a thing about the vacation until it's time to pack!) We have two sons - our oldest, who I will call RS, is 9 years old, and our you
  10. I have an opportunity to go on either the Enchantment of the Seas or the Mariner of the Seas. Both have pretty much identical sail dates and itineraries. Is one ship better than the other? More recently updated?
