  1. I thought we were talking about cows and wildlife? ? @bellemiche won't care. She is use to people going off the rails ?
  2. On the notice by @Matt, it says they will reimburse any airline change fees if you re-book another. Have you considered the 5 night sailing for that same week on Independence of the Seas?
  3. Oops..my bad. I had the wrong ship in mind. However, like @twangster said, that week in spring break in Ontario, Texas, and parts of Florida (according to people in my FB group for my own March 10 sailing). Combine that with Kids Sail Free (that sail date qualifies) all that makes it a popular sailing. So, in answer to your original question, yes, it will probably be packed. But many ships sail full these days.....
  4. Is this the sailing out of San Juan to the ABC islands? Because, if so, that sailing has been very popular. The only reason why I know this is because my friends were looking at this sailing a few months ago and it was almost sold out then already. It was a great price too.
  5. Nope. I'm good with those. They can't chase me.
  6. OMG...you did not tell me there was wildlife out of nowhere! I don't even like dogs and cats! Cows are even worse ?
  7. This one is going to be a tough sell because of the Symphony booking...
  8. Last year they ran it in the fall, and then from Jan-march of this year....still trying to find a way to book that Anthem GC
  9. Does your little birdie know when the next 30% off everyone (or BOGO60) sale will be?
  10. Cucumber Martini and a tribute band to Take That!!!! That would make my cruise right there!!!!?
  11. Thanks for the post cruise update @antarec!! And for scoping out those deck 11 staterooms. I am so glad I booked one of those! 27 more days! I am even more excited now thanks to your post. Great tip too about the VR headset and the Skypad. Will have to pass that along to my daughter.
  12. @Joe01 Thanks for all the work you have done to maintain this thread. People can be quick to criticize but not many want the job, maintaining this list is no easy task. Dreams are meant to be pursued. Wishing you all the best in the pursuit of yours. ?
  13. @ellcee thank you so much for sharing your week with us. Sorry to hear that you came down with a cold but it is clear in all your posts that you have a great attitude to not let it get you down. And sometimes the best vacations are those that you can lounge around and do nothing!
  14. Wow! You have a great view of the port from your hotel room! Seems like it's right next door...literally.
  15. Oh, you have missed a string of many others...have you met "Grandeur Poo-Bah" or "Definitely Not a Bot..Maybe" turned "Not a Bot" now "Kraken Absconder"? lol
  16. A sailing that I have my eye on for next July went down $200. Not enough to make me book it though. Symphony for next July remains the same ? That's the one I want to go down!
  17. Did they convert your CDN balance to a US currency first?
  18. They actually have two locations in FLL. One is on North Federal Hwy. (I've never been to that one) and the other, the one next to Publix, is on Cordova Rd., even though you can see it off 17th St. Here it is on Google Maps. And yes, love that place. Great food, margaritas, and fried ice cream!!!
  19. Hmm...I'm at a lost too then in that case. My two experiences with Starbucks on RC is either on Oasis class where you can use a Starbucks card and it is not covered by the drink package. Those Starbucks locations are "on their own" and not part of Cafe Promenade or whatever. The other is the Starbucks on Anthem where the Starbucks is located within a shop in the promenade and doesn't carry the name "Starbucks" but serves Starbucks coffees and drinks. There you use your Seapass card and you can use the drink packages there. Maybe @Matt has more insight?
  20. That is likely due to the fact the Starbucks on Mariner is not a standalone store. On ships like Harmony and other Oasis class it is, and therefore the Starbucks card can be used, and drinks are not covered by the drink package. To the original question though, I'm not sure if a Canadian Starbucks card would work at the standalone Starbucks location. It would be the same as going to any Starbucks in the US and trying to pay in Canadian dollars. But @jurrjurr had a post that said it was possible. Not sure if that was with a CDN or US gift card?
  21. Following! Here and on Periscope ? Safe travels @hayley_bopp! I love that itinerary!
  22. I am always in this situation where I have to work around the school calendar. ^^^This strategy has yet to fail me in all my years of cruising. I often book once fares are released and monitor from there.
