  1. Thanks @Joe01! CD Mike from SY also had a few Instagram posts today of Canada Day celebrations on board. Happy to see that Royal is acknowledging it.
  2. Me too. I am expecting 3 cancellation emails shortly...
  3. According to a post from another group, the glitch has been fixed...
  4. Coastal Kitchen shows up in the cruise planner but it is often not "bookable" online. That is common. I have several suite bookings in GS or higher and it shows but does not allow me to go through with the booking process. Don't worry, just wait for the concierge email about 1 week prior to sailing and they will make reservations for you. You can also wait until you get on board and reserve with CK directly.
  5. Omg! I just checked all 4 of my sailings and they are all at $18/day as well! Booked it for now.
  6. Not sure what happens, I'm guessing like cabin price errors, they will honour it. As long as you actually booked and paid for it, not just put it in your cart.
  7. Current situation: Toiletries packed The struggle was real. Checked in Next step? Time to cook the last unsatisfying dinner before vacation ?
  8. The trick is the packing cubes. Each kid gets a set amount of packing cubes. It is whatever you can fit into it or it doesn't come.
  9. Correct! We fly economy every time! And yes, like Jane said, out of DTW.
  10. For our family of 4 (2 adults; 2 kids) we bring: 1- large 29" that we check 4 - 21" carry on 4 - backpacks
  11. For someone who has never met us, you do know us well! I so wish you were on this one!
  12. See this post: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/10443-fare-reduction-for-phantom-cabin/&tab=comments#comment-98112
  13. On today's agenda is nothing but packing. We leave for New York tomorrow and Hubby has not packed a single thing yet. Nothing surprising there. The girls and I have packed our clothes but today is the trickier part...toiletries and miscellaneous travel items. Those of you shaking your heads while reading this...the art of packing toiletries for a product junkie like myself and two tween girls (one almost teen) is quite the mental challenge. ?
  14. I can confirm that entire outfit is staying at home this time around. Thank goodness!
  15. Gotcha. I misunderstood. I would rather take the full suite and give up the UDP and the Key. A GS gives you full access to the suite lounge (free drinks) and CK (assuming that it is O or Q class) as well as the suite concierge. If you are on O and Q class ships, you also get the suite sundeck which the Key does not give you access to.
  16. Well she is in for one heck of a surprise then on this sailing! We'll see....hard for bots to take pictures lol.
  17. With Sky class, we canceled our UDP completely.
  18. I can see why you might want UDP even with a GS, but why would you need the Key if you have a GS?
  19. T-3 Days We just had dinner. Plain fish and broccoli and I told myself with every bite that in a few days, I will be enjoying CK meals (at least I hope). Some things never change...Hubby asked us over dinner, "Where does this ship go this time?" ?? I am not sure if he even knows what ship we are sailing. I tried to direct him over to this live blog for answers, but he does not know where to find the blog. ?
  20. Like @twangster said, if you can book it, do it. Way better than MDR.
  21. Hmm...interesting. Then you should take full advantage of it. What ship and room category if you don't mind me asking?
