Made the final payment, and we're a mere 98 days away..... 

This will be the second cruise my family and I will be going on together. When I say family, I mean my mom, three adult siblings, and all five of our partners. This will also only be my second cruise ever, so I'm getting really excited! Even though it's still 6 months away. 😞 

Correct.  Debated between Jewel out of San Juan and this, but settled on yet another cruise on Adventure.

B3B! That is awesome. We are also on this cruise. It will be our first Emerald cruise. 

The only quasi "bummer" is that this will make 3 consecutive cruises on Adventure in less than a year. Yeah I know, first world problems.

I was a little shocked and disappointed that that cruise got cancelled. The canal is a 'bucket list' cruise for many of us.

I hope to see you on the "consolation prize" cruise!

We enjoy cruising and yes, we have spent as long as 42 days on board at times. It attempts to keep us out of trouble.

Yeah, I got it after I wrote my first response.  It's a great replacement.

Looks like this will be our replacement cruise for the canceled Panama Canal cruise. 

We are also onboard this cruise. This will be the last of a B3B. We are Bette and Bill from Port St. Lucie, FL

Labadee is a beach day.  The activities, if you're interested in coaster, zip lines etc are fun.  I like to head over to Columbus Cove and relax.  You can take the ferry over if you don't want to make the walk, but you do need to walk back.
Puerto Plata, I'll be hitting for the first time later this year, we've booked a snorkeling boat but also considered a horseback riding excursion. (both outside of Royal).  If you check Viator, the popular ones seem to be around the Damajagua falls

Just booked our next cruise on Adventure OTS June 1-7!  We're (thankfully) NOT going to Cozumel and Costa Maya, so I'm looking for recommendations, especially for Puerto Plata!
So please, tell me what you liked/disliked about Puerto Plata and Labadee!

We just booked this cruise and I'm really looking forward to trying a Voyager class ship. I have not been to Labadee since 2015 and I'm curious about any changes that have been made since then. Also, it occurs to me that it will be St Patrick's Day when we arrive...

That makes more sense than "from Royal Caribbean Blog dot com" which I thought was a funny last name.

So not HOSH, HOKE or HOCK, but HOTCH.

I've heard @Matt say his own name.  He said Hoch-Berg.  With the CH like in Chops.

I hope you enjoyed that free bottle of champagne that you had to give back at the ceremony!

Sorry, I was playing with my new Royal Caribbean battleship board game and I got carried away.
Found Navigator! 

Recently, I cancelled a Beach Club reservation b/c I was fearful that the weather would be crappy (I was right !).  You just need to cancel a minimum of 48 hours before the date of the reservation.  IOW, you can cancel once on the ship but you cannot wait until the last day.  As long as it is at least 2 days before you arrive at PDCC you can cancel.  After that, it could be an issue getting a refund.
