  1. Perhaps, the all access tour is only offered on the Oasis and Harmony class ships? Maybe one of the admin folks will chime in.....
  2. On the cruise planner page, look in the "Activities" section.
  3. Ohhh man, hopefully not the full length zip front with the chest hair exposed at the top. That will get your beverage package revoked and a Captain's escort to the front of the line on debarkation...... even if it's not your home port of debarkation.
  4. On the Allure next March 25th and April 1st, the tour is now $118.00 instead of $150.00. Don't know about the other cruise ships in RC's fleet, but check it put!
  5. I bet you still wear bell bottom pants.......
  6. Well, hopefully that was a Disney problem. After all, what do you expect from a cruise line that's a Mickey Mouse organization?
  7. Dina, Before we go on a cruise, I call the customer support folks at Royal and get the actual phone number of the ship on which we will be cruising and give that to our daughter and son in law. That way if an emergency comes up they can contact the ship directly. The customer service folks will explain exactly how it works and the costs. Our phones also get to enjoy the cruise from inside the cabin safe! The Allure is a great ship, lots to do and enjoy, have a great time.
  8. I second what Doc said, book it now or risk the excursion being sold out.
  9. They're usually delivered all in one day, the first. I have had them sitting in my room waiting for me on boarding day.
  10. Just don't loose the phone, then you WILL have worries!
  11. We always get a balcony room when we cruise, got spoiled on the first cruise. So nice to have room service bring us coffee and croissants first thing in the morning to enjoy on the deck. Of course, that is on sea days. Not so scenic first thing in the morning when you're in port and on the side of the ship tied up to the pier! Enjoy!
  12. Welcome aboard Mr. Norwegian! It's my understanding from previous posts that the shows on the larger ships do not change until they go in for a major renovation. It has to do with the over all stage production, sets and costumes. On the Allure, did you get too see the Ocean Aria and Blue Planet? If not, hope you can see them.
  13. Don't worry about the length of your post, please keep the news/updates coming! All of those folks are in our thoughts and prayers.
  14. Wow, those are really neat! Thanks for the links.
  15. Hey RCV, what are the initials "OP' an abbreviation for?
  16. RC & NS, I believe what Cari is referring to has to do with the Allure. One of the azipods was damaged (?) and the ship cannot attain a cruising speed over18 knots. If it does there is a lot of vibration, which is not good for the ship nor the passengers. As a result, Royal has changed the itineraries for the Allure replacing some of the islands that the ship cannot make due to her speed limitation. The Allure is scheduled for dry dock and repairs to the azipod the week of January 21, 2018.
  17. I am assuming the ship you will be on is the Allure (power problems). Having been on the Allure last year for two weeks back to back and stopping in Labadee (Haiti) here's my two cents. You can always stay on board the ship. Believe me, there is plenty of entertainment and things to do. Labadee is more than "a beach with tiki huts". On one side is a nice cove with calm water and on the other side is Adrenalin Beach (ocean side). There are carts (free) that will transport you to any part of the beach, or you can walk. Yes, there are some tiki huts when you first get off the ship where you can buy souvenirs or t-shirts. There are umbrellas, lounge chairs, canopies, etc on all of the beaches. Some nice excursions also, check out the Dragon's Breath zip line which passes over Adrenalin Beach, that's how the beach the name. All of the food and beverages come off of the ship and the food is prepared in a large barbecue area. Take a look at the excursions for Labadee in your cruise planner. Hope you do have an enjoyable cruise in spite of the changes.
  18. Well, EXTREMELY, so sorry to hear you are not a happy gambler. Not trying to rub salt in an open wound, but, I would recommend venting your disappointment with RC customer service and or the Royal Casino VIP folks, other than a casino host. They might be able to do something that will make you happy. Best wishes.
