  1. I get to explain what Woodstock was and what it was like!
  2. Here's another one about being a "senior citizen"....I may be old, but I saw the really cool bands!
  3. Looks like SOMEBODY has a lot of time of their hands!
  4. Yes, that's what I meant. A lot of Disney visitors don't know about that, so, let's keep it on the down low, shhh.
  5. Did you know that you can reserve a time for rides like Soarin''? I think you can do it online now. A few years ago my family and I went to Disney and my son-in-law went ahead of us and made reservations for a couple of hours later. We spent the time doing other Disney stuff and then showed up a little before the reservation time and went right in.....ahead of the very long line. Talk about dirty looks, but, I didn't really care. Check it out! This will definitely galvanize your reputation as a "vacation drill sergeant" and possibly get you promoted sergeant major!
  6. You know what THEY say about being old (regardless of having an AARP card).....you're only as old as you feel and when you can't feel anymore, then you're old!
  7. Uhhh, yes, of course...that's exactly what I meant.
  8. For all of the past Random Wind customers and future ones....the boat and crew are alive and well! Here's the link:https://www.facebook.com/Random-Wind-Charters-493899760716618/ There is also a Go Fund Me link that Diane has set up for contributions to help out the St. Maarten effort.
  9. One problem with that, after that many drinks will you remember the name of the one in the pic? Unless you get really lucky after drink 1 or 2.
  10. FM, You should not have any time issues since your excursions have been booked through RC. The only time issue you MAY have is if you oversleep!
  11. Glad you got a kick out of it!
  12. And you will have a great cruise, too, Bon Voyage!
  13. Where is your cabin located on the ship? Regardless of the time zone, the forward cabins will always be ahead of the actual time when arriving at the next port.
  14. You know, Tiny, this is going to really confuse FManke.......
  15. Boston, ohhh man. Not only do they talk funny but they have their own time zone!
  16. Any changes to the time will be posted in the daily Cruise Compass.
  17. I found Buffalo Trace at the Schooner Bar this past March on the Serenade and that was the only bar on the ship that had it, one bottle. The liquor store on board the ship had it stocked and I grabbed four bottles to take home.
  18. Grubby, I have sent e-mails to Royal in the past and it takes a week or longer for them to reply.
  19. Jason, If you can find it, I recommend Old Weller 107 and Buffalo Trace. Both most excellent bourbons, but damn near impossible to find (especially here in NC).
  20. And that's what a cruise ship is for, getting over the stress. The ONLY stress on a cruise ship (especially the Allure) is when to eat, what to eat and where to eat!
