My experience last year on the Allure with MTD was not good. We had a group of 6 and finding us a table for dinner at 6:30 had us waiting for up to 20 minutes plus getting shuffled around every night. I recommend you call RCI or have your travel agent call and go for the early seating in the MDR. That will work out for the shows.

Try using a different web browser. I use Chrome and with Windows 10. For some reason they don't always make nice with the RCI website. I switched to Internet Explorer and bingo, instant friends. If you have to call try late at night (after 10:00 pm) or early morning (6:00 am).

Yes, it is ok. The ship takes sea water and runs it through a very, very large desalinization unit for the water on board.

It's not 2 bottles per person. It's two 750ml bottles per stateroom.

Diva, The discount is "up to 30%" on drink packages. Just like the discount on excursions is "up to 20%". Today I cancelled my excursions on the upcoming Serenade cruise in March and re-booked saving a lot of money. The higher the drink package & excursion, the higher the discount.

I'll be on the Allure next April also going to St. Thomas. I just googled that Park, wow! Hope RC adds that to their excursions.

Damian, Whatever transport you decide on, I would recommend leaving earlier than 1130 am the next morning to get to the port. In fact, if you can be at the port earlier you will be able to board earlier. However, your rooms may not be ready, just bring the essentials in a back pack or small carry. I always like to get on board early just to enjoy the ship without the crowds. Good luck and enjoy! Robert

I just did, booked two excursions and started on a third when I got the "bad request" message and a locked screen. 33 more hours on this sale so I have some time left. This is the first time that I have encountered any internet problems with the RCI website!

Got a nice email from RCI today advertising some good discounts on drink packages, excursions, etc. Been trying to get into the excursions option with the cruise planner with 0 success. Both Chrome and IE cannot get in. Anyone else experiencing this? :( The good news is this is a 72 hour sale. Perhaps better luck late tonight or in the wee hours of the morning.

I HATE to even think about flying home after a cruise! I have even thought about stowing away just to stay on board the ship,but, my wife was always quick to point out that I didn't bring enough clean underwear.

Be sure to get some BBD rum in Grand Cayman. That is the ONLY island that sells this rum and it tastes great!
