  1. Barcelona and Cartagena are easily visited.
In Barcelona, use the shuttle to reach the port/bottom of the ramblas. From there, walk quietly through the streets. You can take the metro to go to the sagrada familia, casa Botelo or the other works of Gaudí. If this is your first time, the hop/off bus is very full.
In Cartagena, the ship is directly in town. You have to cross the street and you are there. There are the old town, Roman ruins, museums...

  2. In Split it is very easy, the ship arrives a few minutes walk from the old town. There is a lot to visit while walking around the city. For those I want, there is a small beach nearby.

For Dubrovnik, the ship arrives at the port which is a bit far. Take the shuttle or public buses. Again, there is much to visit and even more for lovers of "game of thrones". For the beach, from the small port of Dubrovnik, possibility to take the public boat to the island of Lokrum. Beautiful, without car. It is a nature reserve. Attention, the site is paid but included in the ticket of the public boat. If it’s a private boat, you’ll have to pay extra.

  4. We just did "OIA on your own". In santorini, these are tenders. Two arrival points (one for cruise passengers on foot, the other for excursions). The one for excursions allows buses to come.
The bus takes us to OIA, free time. Then takes us back to Fira, free time until evening. We return to the boat by going down with the cablecar, the ticket is included in the excursion or on foot.
This excursion is a very good choice to avoid waiting for the tender but also to avoid waiting at the port to climb to FIRA which is in need of the cliff.

  5. 11 cruises, still in GTY.
Until 2023, we had the assisgnation several months before the cruise (for example, I already know the cabin of my cruise next September). But for 2025 cruises, no information.
For the 11 cruises, the cabin only changed one number because we were in B2B. We believe that Royal has moved the cabins closer to avoid a long baggage transport.
