  1. I actually read this as having two people registered for the inside cabin, then having one of them be a no show. That could work, but it sounds like having everyone in the suite with suite benefits is the more desired outcome.
  2. Entertainment reservations are available as of today (June 4th, 42 days to sailing). Options include: Ocean Aria (Aqua Theater) - Days 2, 3, & 6 Mamma Mia (musical) - Days 1, 2, & 7 Blades (ice skating show) - Days 1, 4, 5, & 7 Blue Planet: Home (documentary/show? unsure) - Days 4 & 5 All can be reserved through the Cruise Planner for free.
  3. I am noticing on several of my cruises that it would be cheaper for me to buy 24 bottles of water through the Royal Gifts versus doing it through the cruise planner. Does it matter which way I buy it?
  4. I keep reading it as what a performer would do when they come out on stage while the audience is applauding.
  5. Refreshment Package - $27.99 Arcade - That's the constant price, I've never seen it change ever.
  6. I've often wondered that too - go with the cheaper option and keep the opportunity for MORE than a junior suite open!
  7. We were going to do the shuttle with Royal until I found another rideshare that was cheaper. My TA quoted $35 per person one way, $70 round trip. (since we're a larger group, it was cheaper to get a rideshare vs. the shuttle cost)
  8. I did a 3-night in January in an interior room and got double points. I'm doing a 3-night in September in a JS and getting TRIPLE points! (solo cruiser) Your TA needs to check his/her information...
  9. I had 6435 on Navigator in January. I never heard a peep from below in the dining room. If you're interested, someone did a review of the room next to you here: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/deckbydeck.php?ship=Navigator-of-the-Seas&deck=6 (click on the YouTube link)
  10. "dance party on a cruise ship" did much better
  11. Oh my goodness, I'm DYING now: "people on a cruise ship"
  12. I asked for "A cruise ship in Florida" and got this.
  13. I saw this a few days ago: https://www.cruisehive.com/major-changes-for-unique-royal-caribbean-itinerary/101087 I wonder if they will be altering other itineraries because they already have on this one?
  14. I wonder if you and I have the same MEI travel agent, as mine too is on vacation during this same stretch...
  15. 66! I may freeze to death this summer!!!!
  16. On my last cruise with my family, the gentleman next door had a scooter that he left in the hallway between his door and ours when he was in the room. It was no bother at all, there was plenty of room to move past it. I don't know for the room attendants though, ha! It may be possible to just leave it in the hall if it doesn't fit through the regular doorway.
  17. Prices are so stagnant right now. I keep checking Refreshment Package prices. It's either $27.99/day or $31.99/day (with and without a sale respectively). Blah. It's not you doing anything wrong - it's just not changing!
  18. Can you do Air2Sea through your TA?
  19. You can always go to the Uber/Lyft app or website and do a mock booking to see what the pricing is going to be. Here's what I see currently from Lyft.
  20. I know I got 24 bottles of water on Black Friday for $14.50. The $40 is ludicrous.
  21. Yup, it stinks. I see $23 for 12 bottles and $40 for 24 for my next cruise. Ridiculous for standard water bottle size. I did see something awhile back about them moving to 1L bottles, but the listing has no mention of bottle size. It'd make more sense if it was 1L bottles, but I don't know if that's the case or not. If you get the Refreshment or Deluxe Beverage Package(s), water bottles are included there. Just FYI in case you were considering a drink package.
  22. Just as a quick check, Quantum is visiting Skagway 4 times in May 2024 based on the port schedule.
  23. If you do a search on just Quantum of the Seas (https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises?search=ship:QN&sort=by:PRICE|order:ASC), you'll see that MOST of the Alaska cruises in 2023 and 2024 by the ship are from Seattle and go to Skagway. There are a few itineraries that do not, but MOST do. Skagway has put in a lot of work to maintain the dock area due to rock slides in the area, but Juneau is the only cruise port that has restrictions on amount of ships allowed to visit per day (and even that doesn't start until 2024). Royal isn't going to be able to say Yes/No to Skagway since Quantum has various itineraries that do and do not visit the port. Go by the schedule on the web site. Better yet, you can check Cruise Mapper's port schedule to see when Quantum is there.
  24. Can't tell you much about Turquoise Bay because we'll be there in July. You'll have information before I do! I know they provide snorkeling equipment there, but we didn't choose it because it's good for snorkeling (I've heard the west side of the island is better too) - we chose it to get away from crowds and possibly be in a quieter location. The contact for Red Shirt Golf Cart Rentals is Carolina Barbosa at [email protected] . All the information we got from her was quick and straight forward. You can't beat $60 for a 4-person golf cart for the entire day!
