  1. I wouldn't do anything..unless you are willing to call. Also I was able to purchase internet and a floating mat this morning with no issues. But this was 5am Eastern time. ..maybe i beat the rush
  2. the regular package should work for all of that,as long as you aren't trying to face time or video chat- the regular plan should work for everything you listed
  3. Looking at my cruise, Oasis 1\29\23 (All USD$) Thrill water park: 50% off (48.99 instead of 99.99) Coco Cay zipline: 50% off (53.99 instead of 109.00) quite a few of the other coco cay excursions are 50% off also Zoom Surf and Stream 13.99 a day (98.00 for the trip instead of 167.00 that is was a few days ago) This is the one I'm jumping on- wasn't going to do internet, but this is a pretty good deal Lots of deals on the merchandise\gifts Deluxe drink 72.99 a day (pretty sure this is about the same as its been) dining packages from 15-50% off depending on which one and location No deals on the casitas (which is one I've been checking for!) or classes A few other deals if you poke around
  4. Sorry- I had to open the menu up top and click on internet- currently only offering the Stream package- 97.93usd for 1 device, 7 nights. This is compared to 167.00usd that it has been! so we got some deals on my sailing (1\29\23-Oasis)
  5. mine is showing 50% off thrill waterpark (48.99) which is a great deal- its been around 100.00 for months. There is no internet packages at all on the site right now
  6. Its basically the old book we would get sent to make reservations before it all moved online- I actually wanted one of these when planning my trip this year! thanks!
  7. What Xaa said- just call and tell them one of you can't drink- they will ask you to purchase a beverage package instead for the second person. No questions asked-just can't do it online
  8. The one that Purdueflyer mentions above provides a shuttle to the port...which is what sold me on the idea. Drop the car, jump in the shuttle and right to the port
  9. So I just went ahead and did the car rental- for the price of uber and the convenience to be able to run around the night before the cruise and get the stuff we don't want to fly with (shampoos\snacks\wine for the room) AND a shuttle to the port after drop off, that sold it. Thank you @PurdueFlyerfor that advice. I'm also not a huge fan of the fees and operating practices of Uber\Lyft so this was a great call.
  10. Is the tri-rail the same thing as the bright line? I've actually been looking at the car rental- we have the whole day in Miami so it may be worth it to have a car to get around then just drop the car off Sunday morning and shuttle to the port. We are staying a night before and a night after the cruise- the night after we have a room closer to the port, right across from the bayside shopping and bayfront park area, so we will just make due with the crappy location for the pre-cruise hotel.
  11. So my flight into Miami the morning before my cruise in January just got rescheduled from 7am to 6pm. So we were offered a full refund, which I took. So I decided to check into flying into FLL instead and found tickets for almost 1/3 of the original flight to Miami. BUT our hotel is right next to Miami intl. How much of a pain is it going to be to get from FLL to MIA? Shuttle,train,uber...other? What are my options here.
  12. We are actually staying here for the night AFTER our cruise, staying by the airport before and here after. Seems close to a lot of stuff, so we can stretch out the vacation one last day!
  13. I think the option to see other cruises has been there, at least for a few months as I've been checking it out occasionally myself.
  14. I guess it also depends on how many people- when you look for 2 people, A LOT more rooms show up- if you look for 3, it really dwindles down because all of the adjoining rooms and rooms with sofa beds I guess are being booked quicker. But if you look at rooms for 2 in the central park view or for 3 in the large balcony ocean view rooms, basically almost every room mid- ship on deck 9 is open!
  15. we were originally against it, the whole "unplug and relax" thing... but the more we get closer to the cruise, the more I realize we are going to want it for 1. this reason, getting in touch. and 2. we are going to be in the room at night or between activities, and it will just be easier if he can grab his tablet and watch a few minutes on youtube or whatever to keep him occupied while we get ready or relax for a bit.
  16. You do not NEED a passport for any of the cruises mentioned above, a birth certificate and ID will do. People suggest that you have the passport in case of emergencies, but legally, you do not need to have it.
  17. Thats easier said than done. I will have an 11 year old, and in the most part we will let him roam and set up some meeting times and points... but kids tend to not pay attention to times, or might get turned around on a ship that size. It's nice to have a backup plan in case you need to get a hold of them!
  18. If you can go in late January, there are quite a few ocean view balcony and large ocean view balcony rooms available on the Jan 29th sailing Oasis to Roatan\Coco cay\Cozumel\Costa maya. I just upgraded to a boardwalk balcony room, but only because I didn't wanna spend the extra few hundred for the large ocean view balcony rooms....but they have em!
  19. Shows up on mine in January....and a few others that I've looked at. All on night 6
  20. As expected...called back today and the person that answered was able to help much more. Gave me a list of available categories, we went through a few and I upgraded. I wanted to get an ocean view balcony room but all they had available were the spacious balcony and it ended up being about 200 more than I wanted to spend. In the end we went from CP view room (no balcony) to Boardwalk balcony room. At least got our balcony and we might be able to see a little ocean off the back of the ship!
  21. Yeah it was just weird...she typed away for 10 minutes and came up with nothing for me. I'm going to try again this week
  22. It's hard to determine because the prices have changed a little and we had discounts/ kids sail free so not sure if it would come out exactly the same
  23. That's what I said...how is my window looking inside the ship a better room than a balcony looking at the ocean? I'm going to try again this week. She swore she could only get me in two room categories and they were both sold out.
