Ha, I thought it was the butt of the towel animal, as well... looks like something with its butt up in the air, like a dog when they pounce. Also, we had one of those fans our past few cruises, as well... big fan of them (pun intended). BUT the one we had wasn't used all winter and when we went to use it at home a few weeks ago, it was dead. Noticed a sticker on the bottom that actually says to make sure it gets used or charged occasionally if not being used...so lesson learned. Ordered a new one from Prime day yesterday so we'll have it for next month. Still going back and forth on cup clips, we don't lounge much on the ship, but might grab em for the beach visits! Glad you are feeling better, I know you said you had a lot going on before the cruise, maybe you just needed a good rest after cruise prep and real life stuff going on.

Nice, I like the collection! And yeah, listening to sports talk over here, you'd think we were in last place, it's weird. I think it's the streakiness of them, 8 wins then 5 losses, 10 runs one day, 2 for the next three games... it's like we just have to hope they hit the right streak when the time comes.

Well, Florida IS the spot a ton of Philadelphians decide to move to when they want to escape the MidAtlantic weather. That's part of our embarkation tradition... we usually wear something associated with the city on boarding day... Eagles if it's in the Winter, we'll probably have some Phillies stuff on next month when we board.

I always realize you started these a few days late and already have to play catch up! I'm here and ready, now! Also, I have coworkers (who booked through me!) on the 2nd leg of this one, so I'll definitely be watching for any weather or shenanigans that may pop up on your second round. YEP- I use ketchup on my scrambled eggs! And Hot dogs.... not ALWAYS a cheesesteak, but sometimes they need a little squirt.

Yeah, I think our wives have similar taste (or lack of)... until it comes to Burgers- She NEEDS cheese, and lettuce\tomato\mayo\ketchup. like will turn that thing away if it's not on there. She usually needs it melted, too, which is why the ones at the windjammer usually don't cut it- they have the cheese just sitting there that you slap on yourself, and it never melts.

Agree with the wings, I found them to be mushy and just ok... Sorrentos gets exactly the love it deserves, people love it because it's fast, easy and open late- I don't think many people find it to be amazing pizza... but it's good. I can eat that all day and not fill up, it's a great snack! Underrated: the Playmakers burger. Everyone raves about the wings and onion tower, and I'm over here (along with @OCSC Mike) telling everyone to get the burger!!

I think they lease the island, but I'm pretty sure they still charge that VAT\Tax for anything you actually buy on the island, like at the little merch stands.

We did this two years ago..literally about a week before the big accident. We read so many mixed reviews and decided to do it. We loved it.. I really think it all depends on the amount of ships\people that end up there before you do. We had no problem getting a lounger to the right, and my son and I loved the little cove area to the left of the dock, past the inflateables. The only similar experience was the waiting in the sun part.. we stood out there for about 30-45 minutes with no cover, that was definitely rough. Sorry it wasn't a fun time, and glad Royal took care of it.

I love how posts from years ago keep being revived! BUT since it is... (I wasn't here 5 years ago, so it's still a new post to me!) We don't like to spray it around other people, either, we do it on the balcony or in the bathroom.

I think we are paying more for the three of us to do Margaritaville in Nassau next month (I'm excited that I can finally say next month) and that includes NOTHING but the waterpark. no drinks or food...

Not gonna lie...the prices I got are pretty good, pretty comparable to a beach club in cozumel. I might consider the NA one for the three of us then the wife could buy her 1-2 margaritas if she wants.

Also, as usual these prices vary- looking at my app for NEXT August and our price is 199.99 for the Day pass\open bar and 149.99 for the unlimited NA drinks... not QUITE as bad. Some of the bigger ones are $3-500 cheaper, as well.

There is a good deal now if you travel with more than two people... third and fourth passenger free, which is nice for those who have kids just out of the Kids sail free age range...

Liberty does NOT have them. As mentioned, they are supposed to be added during the amp next year- covid caused them to miss the original date for updating.

Not sure how brand new you need it, but I saw a TON of really nice, in good shape still, suitcases and carry ons at my local Goodwill and another big thrift shop in the area. I'm thinking of grabbing another carry on, so instead of one suitcase, one carry on and one large back pack, we can do away with the backpack for another carry on.

They definitely have sugar free red bull. I don't drink coffee, so a sugar free red bull in the morning and one mid afternoon is how I keep going on a cruise. I stock pile them throughout the week so I have a few in the fridge for my morning drink. 2-3 might come home with me for the ride/flight home, as well
