  1. Thanks for bringing us along. I hope you have a safe trip back home.
  2. Thanks for bringing us along. But why are there 3 'videos' that have 0.00 for their time? Is it just me that can't watch the videos?
  3. Just remember, any day on a cruise ship is better than a day in the office. Thanks for bringing us along with you. I did find an article I thought you would be interested in: https://www.yahoo.com/news/nearly-70-reported-sexual-assaults-232541650.html I think you were lucky that you did not have to experience an assault - just a creeper. I hope you have a better cruise next time.
  4. Definitely go with a travel agent. They will not cost you anything more than if you were to try to book on your own. Make sure you get a travel agent that specialize with cruise. My travel agent only does cruises but she works in a travel agent that will handle other things - like booking air fare or hotels. Tell the travel agent what you are expecting and she/he can help you pick the right cruise at the right price with the right cabin and the right itinerary. One more thing - once you are on the cruise, plan on being flexible. Sometimes ports are switched due to weather or local issues. Just go with the flow! Good luck. You will have a blast.
  5. Everyone - I agree with @Xaa. I also believe that @BunBaoMamais talking about keeping the breast milk frozen before using it. Breast milk will only last a couple of hours refrigerated. It is very important to get that precious gold frozen as soon as possible. @BunBaoMama- if you have a travel agent (TA), ask them to ask Royal. If not, I would call or write (https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/contact-us) to Royal directly. But warning, if you call you may be on the phone for awhile. I also believe somewhere there will be a form you can fill out for medical needs. Or, bring it with you as a carry on. It may be confiscated but at least you can try to explain why you need it. Mention that it is for a medical reason - your infant daughter needs her milk that RC can't provide. Good luck!
  6. Ditto on what everyone is saying. Definitely a creeper. You may want to mention something to a crew member. Why they may not be able to do anything, they will be watching. It is a shame that you had to forgo the casino. Again, mention something to them, they may be able to run interference for you. And after all that, you had to go ahead and mention "Pineapple"!! LOL!!!
  7. The only thing that may hold you up from getting back on the ship is if the Coast Guard takes time to complete their inspection. It is rare but it has happened. But other than that, no line, not much waiting.
  8. I would recommend ordering what you like for your entrée but order the seafood entrée to be shared with the table. If you like the seafood entrée, you can eat that one and share your first entrée.
  9. I don't know who told you that your passport needs to be valid for 6 months after the cruise. Depending on which countries you visite, it may be 6 months before the cruise. This is the information I found: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/have-passport/renew.html#:~:text=We recommend renewing your passport, about your destination's entry requirements. "We recommend renewing your passport well ahead of any planned international travel, even if it still has a few months validity left on it. Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip." As far as researching a country's requirement about passport, you can check out this website: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel/International-Travel-Country-Information-Pages.html I hope this helps.
  10. I would definitely recommend the windbreaker light-weight jacket and a light-weight hoody. The windbreaker is usually very light and can compress into a small package but it does WONDERS in cutting down the wind thru your clothes, which keeps you warm.
  11. Color! I thought the colors meant something; therefore, I had to print in color. Does the Apple "Air Tags" work with Android phones or only Apple phones?
  12. Up here in NE, schools will run fundraisers with flamingos. One family will pay to have a huge flock of plastic flamingos set up in someone's yard. That someone has the option of either paying $$ to have them removed or have them in their yard for 1 week. I am going to be laughing everything I see those flamingos. I wonder if anyone up here knows that flamingos represents?
  13. I will be following. You definitely need to splurge on Valentine Day with a specialty restaurant. Have fun!
  14. Tell 'The Boss' to get the patch. I use it all the time. I get motion sickness just sitting in the back seat of a car. The trick to the patch is if a full disk is too much, cut 1/3 off of it. But make sure you either wear gloves or immediately wash your hands. Because you don't want that medication anywhere need your eyes.
  15. I have actually seen others use 'addy' for 'address'. Strange. I know.
  16. If you ever fly internationally, Global Entry is the way to go. Otherwise, TSA PreCheck is great. Our friends talked us into Global Entry when we went on an international trip with them. They did not want to wait around for us to get thru customs. It is only a $22 difference so it was a no brainer for us. To see the difference, you could check out the following site: https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/travel/tsa-precheck-global-entry-explained Thank you for taking us along on your cruise.
  17. But then you won't see as many ridiculous people and their silly behaviors. That could cause you to have a boring cruise. You would miss out on all that free entertainment. And so will we. LOL!
  18. A cruise ship sinks in the middle of the sea and the cruise passengers manage to escape on life boats. A woman asks the Captain “How far is the closest land?” “3 miles”, he answers. “That’s not too bad, in which direction?, she asks. The Captain replied “Down”
  19. @Ampurp85 I don't think you are on a cruise. I think you are in a soap opera! These stories are just amazing!
  20. I mean, right!! I couldn't stop laughing about it. If I was the person with the chicken strips - I would just tell the beggar where she could go. And I don't mean where she could go to get the chicken strips. But that is just me. LOL!
  21. If your BIL is sensitive to noise, he should try sleeping with ear plugs. I would start wearing them at least 2 weeks before the cruise to get use to something in your ears. I did this when I was cruising with my brother, who snores. Your BIL could also try sleeping with a sound machine. Again, it will take a few nights to get used to the noise from the noise machine but it is a consistent noise that you can get use to. Enjoy your cruise.
  22. Your brother's low number could also be due to people transferring onto your flight from an earlier flight. Therefore, they checked in earlier for their first flight.
