Good advice.  I always print out everything (I know, not very ecological of me, and I don't care) and take it with me.  I always seem to have a folder that is about an inch thick with everything that has transacted (from our TA and from Royal) with that cruise, everything from emails to invoices to excursions purchased/canceled, packages purchased/canceled, COVID Test purchased and results, etc etc etc.

I do the same thing, backup hard copies can come in handy!

  2. We are sailing 6/10 to Alaska, I have been watching updates on Youtube for things like this and of course Covid updates. I agree RC has not been very good in relaying pertinent information. I found out about needing to load the Arrive Can app 2 months ago and from other cruise line updates on Youtube, I highly suggest to look for updates as often as possible on your own.

  3. Hello fellow cruisers!

Fellow cruisers, we are in such a cool club aren't we?

Has anyone used the Port Valet out of the port of Seattle? I booked with them about a month ago for our cruise that leaves in 24 days and received confirmation that we are all set. My question is will they notify RC of the need for Disembarkation day or should I check in with guest services on the ship to make sure? I like the idea of my luggage being taken to the airport for me.

    thanks in advance😀

  4. How formal is formal night on an Alaskan cruise? Do men have to wear a sport coat? I figured slacks and a nice shirt should be acceptable.

Since packing for colder weather and layering, bringing formal wear seems alittle out of place for an Alaska cruise.
