I am glad RC provided a reasonable refund.  Royal caribbean is monitoring this site and don't need any more bad discussion about this incident. 

We boarded a Celebrity Cruise in Oct and there were 15% capacity which was great, but I understand that this cannot happen too many times.  Every business needs to make money.  I didn’t expect RC sold out to 100% capacity on Odyssey last week and next two weeks.  I rather pay more money and cruise at 60-70% capacity to play safe.  Finance and management are always the cause to look good and play with fire.

Nessa and Clover18 thank you for the update.  Odyssey of the Seas is a beautiful cruise.  When I was on board last week, 270 was a great quite place to hangout.  We got to know workers at the 270 café.  This is the last cruise for the Philippine Barista, and she is going back home to enjoy the holiday.  I hope she is doing fine.  Stay healthy and positive on the ship. 

I think there is something wrong with your PDF download.  I have the same issue with my phone when downloading PDF.  My wife and I have the same phone and she can download the cover page but I cannot.  We have used CVS many times going to Canada, travel international and few cruises.  It is something wrong with the PDF download.  I am pretty savvy with computer and software but default download on my Samsung S20 is not working correctly

COVID test before boarding is hassle but it can limit many of the fake COVID test result.  If you cruise more than once for the last 6 months you know you can create a fake PCR/Antigen test result.  There are NO standard on the PCR/Antigen test forms and the person checking only looking for the date and "negative".   Royal should ask everyone to upload the test result before boarding so that people will take it more serious.  When we go to Canada, we enter all of the PCR test, Vaccin card, hotel  information to the ArriveCan App before crossing the boarder.  

I said it before that this is the first time Odyssey is cruising full house for 8 days.  When I was on board last week, I was told that next two cruises are full house.  I wish Royal would test everyone before boarding similar to Norwegian.  

I was on the Odyssey of the Seas last week, enjoy your time.  Captain must be stress out because he just come back for his 10 weeks assignment.

Two70 is great place to hangout and some quit time.  Show at Two270 was great.  One of the 18 projectors was broken. It was working on the first day for the experience show.

All of the shows are great.  Watched five different shows but many people complained because no availability on the App.  Alot of people standing outside waiting for last minute no shows.  

I wish Royal would enforce the indoor mask rule on the Odyssey of the Seas which I just finished today.  People need to understand Masks will be part of everyone's life for a while.  It is no different than we stopped indoor smoking on flights and restaurants.   Smokers were complaining for a long time but everyone accepted now.

Play marker not enough seats.  People are standing around during Football games because no seats are available.   The area always warm and need better AC in this area.

Three grooves/bumps on the flowrider.  It is very difficult to pass the bump without falling.   This is the first ship with the bump and hopefully the last.

Restriction on the port shop.  Only 19 people at a times including workers.  Ship management allows 15 people in a 6 people hot tub but only 19 in the shop. 

New touchless elevator buttons is bad. With very crowded elevator,  many times the person standing next to the button didn't know if you standing to close and the button will be chosen.  Many times throughout the cruise we have to stop many floors. 

For Odyssey of the seas, I was told that 100% capacity for the next two sails.  Around 25% of kids on the today's sail. With 80% capacity, it was pretty crowded.   It's going to be alot of stairs and wait on the line.

With 80% capacity, Main Dining is prepandemic. Tables are only 12" apart.  

Port day you will have a better luck of using hot tub with less than 6 people.  When passenger slowly coming back around 14:00.  It slowly fill up again with 8 to 14 peoples in it.

On the Odyssey, Chops closed for lunch on the embarkation day. We went to Giovannis for lunch.

No enforcement on odyssey. Started with 2 and end with 15 people. I walk away when people doesn't follow the rule. 

It is a simple calculation.  Any cruise with more than 70% capacity with restrictions is going to be difficult.

I also feel that the cruise ship should install temperature monitor before going into theater,  Windjammer or any crowded area.  When you are in the theater and you hear people coughing constantly.  I understand people cough all the time but you just get nervous while sitting in the theater. 

If you follow the passenger count for the last few months, the highest is around 60-65%.  This is the first cruise with 80% which included a few last minute cancelation.  I feel that 100% capacity is going to be difficult for passengers and crews during pendamic.
