We have had 2 successes.
1. Vision in Oct 22 from interior to oceanview for £100 per person bid
2. Symphony Apr 23 from Jr Suite to Grand Suite for £650 per person bid.
Hope this helps

We are going in April and have booked the RCL offshore fishing excursion from Tourquiose Bay. Has anyone done this before? Any tips etc appreciated.

So looking forward to this cruise. Will be very interested in your links and any tips.

Yes, we are on this as second week of a b2b. Really looking forward to it

Hello, quiet here but hopefully will be a few more posts as we approach sail date. This is our first cruise as Diamonds and staying on for a B2B. Great itinerary stops. Someone has posted on the roll call for the sailing on 22nd Oct a list of strikes planned in Italy to keep an eye on. Should not affect us really but worth watching.

Check in day guys.

Extra port added tonight. Extra stop in Valencia added after Malaga.
Lovely city and fabulous aquarium.

We have a couple of stops in Rome next year, April and June and no excursions listed either. All other stops have trip options. Bit strange?

To clarify, we had the DBP as we always do and will do until we hit diamond next Oct. We just did not use the cups.

Ok, thanks for replies.

We had DBP on our last cruise and simply didn't unwrap the drinks cups (left them in the room and forgot about them). Question is when is the chip activated? As the chip in the cup had not been activated in a drinks machine does anyone know if we can use the cups on a later cruise where we will not have a drinks package?

We cruise on Explorer in September 2023, two 7 night B2B cruises. Flying from the UK, we are thinking about going to Bologna and staying overnight in a hotel before our cruise. The distance to Ravenna port from Bologna is about half the distance from Venice to the port and hopefully there would be a taxi available to take us to and from Bologna to Ravenna. A little too early to check this out at the moment but will start investigating next month. Will feed back to the forum if this option works for us.
Would like an update as we are doing exactly the same B2B in Oct also flying from UK. We were thinking of flying into Bologna on sail date and flying back from Venice a couple of days after arrival of the 2nd week. Would be grateful for your flight plans when you manage to book please?

We have just had a little win. On Vision next month and been successful for the 1st time with Bid up. We are moving from interior to oceanview for £100 each. Still 5 weeks from cruise date and pleased with the location and price. In total we paid less for the interior and upgrade than Royal's current price for our now vacant interior!

Just added it to our Explorer cruise from Venice, now trying to add it to one from FL next February.
@Steve C where did you see the flyer, despite being on the Royal mailing list we get virtually nothing from them.
It was on a Facebook group for a sailing we are on. It 100% works as we have added it to our booking for next April.

Interestingly the flyer says Europe, Caribbean or further afield, assume it's only for bookings made in the UK.
I think so as it is priced in Sterling.

It says ALL ships including so to me its any ship with a 7 night or longer sailing in Europe. We have added it to our Symphony booking for April so it is available.

Ravenna Hotel Suggestions

We stayed at NH Ravenna last Oct and was fine. Great location easy walking distance to the train station where you also have to get the shuttle bus to the ship.
