This Beach club in Vanuatu is supposed to be open next year and it’s really got me baffled. Where in Vanuatu is it supposed to be ?? Theres a big Marina that’s going to be built across the bay from Lelepa ,the biggest in the South Pacific. Im thinking Royal might tender to there and ferry paying customers across to Lelepa. I doubt the wharf in Vila will be open this season. There’s some big rocks hanging over the area and I think there’s more important things to fix after the earthquake. Ovation and Quantum tender to the main wharf and I don’t think there’s anywhere else . They might be able to use the little wharf near the casino but it isn’t really suitable for the traffic of buses and taxis.

I’ll bet my last drink voucher that RCG will announce building a new cruise terminal in San Pedro early next year and then an investment in Mexico somewhere. On Quantum’s repo from Singapore.The captain talked at the top tier about the future of Royal Caribbean . He said Icon is a big success along with Oasis. He said there’s plans for a smaller ship and he just said let’s see what happens there. He didn’t sound confident. He said the next big project will be a private destination on the west coast of Mexico.

N.S.W government is expected to decide on a third Sydney terminal early next year. Port Kembla looks like the favourite with Ship L.N.G soon to come. A train line to the new airport and the locals want it .

North Star is working and taking passengers

Apparently the North Star is fixed,there was a lot of people working on it after Singapore.

Currently on Quantum,sailing from Singapore to Brisbane. The captain was saying that a private destination on the west coast Mexico is in the pipeline and will be the next big announcement.

I’m on Quantum in Singapore,the first day after dry dock. They painted the hull but above that it’s a mess.Lots of rust and dirty. The noodle bar is still a noodle bar and there doesn’t look like they have changed anything. The North Star isn’t working but rumours are they will be working on it on the way to Australia.

Tahiti port bookings have both Anthem and Ovation doing the transpacific to Australia for the 26-27 season. Voyager has regular port bookings in Brisbane for the season and I suppose 2 Quantum in Sydney. We might have 3 ships back for the season. https://www.portdepapeete.pf/fr/previsions-navires

It’s only got my Celebrity cruises. You want to try Celebrity out ,the food is the highlight ,steak and eggs in the buffet every morning for breakfast.

There’s definitely a mistake as it this coming season and Quantum has to go for a dry dock on the way to Brisbane.They wouldn’t have two ships in Brisbane as they can’t fill one . I thought the site was Vicki Freed’s but it’s strange they have Navigator deployed in Brisbane ,they can’t be that incompetent.

Vicki Freed has Navigator in Brisbane ? I remember she had Ovation in Hawaii / west coast when it was supposed to go to china but didn’t.

I was advised as having the longest zip line in the southern hemisphere and the tallest water slide this side of who knows. Theres a few people just drumming up a story about it ,I think they are just getting the motivation from here and CC’s ANZ forum. Why let the truth get in the way of a good article.

It’s the first I have heard of that and I have been following it pretty closely .

I never thought Lelepa was viable in the form of cocoa cay ,we just don’t have the population or the ships to warrant it . Vanuatu is a pretty remote place and they would be better to have a Beach Club near Port Vila or Luganville where there’s a dock and some infrastructure. The U.S just opened an embassy and Japan has their check book out . Maybe they might help upgrade Vila dock to take a Quantum or Oasis class .

I seems , it’s been down graded from a perfect day Lelepa private island to a beach club.
