  1. Does this suite have a piano? I’ve always wondered if you can have someone come in to play or if you are reliant on your own musical skills?
  2. looks like they just said closing for maintenance… feels like most of the time it doesn’t run anyhow due to weather as others above have said https://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/Royal-Caribbean-closes-CocoCay-balloon-ride-for-maintenance
  3. I can’t imagine the 4000 per day cabanas are far behind!
  4. I agree, there is plenty to do for free. If your kids were older water slide enthusiasts maybe it would be worth it but for me the prices are too high right now. It’s hard at that age to know how interested they will be in the park versus everything else there is to do. I’d say wait until they are older
  5. I agree. We once bought a UDP on Mariner but when we came back a second time stuck with the MDR. Not enough variety to be tempted to pay what they are currently asking and the MDR was pretty good
  6. I don’t think there is any option for most sessions to eat or drink. If they are in for an extended period on a sea day could be different but this is not the norm. They would get no use out of the drink package during time in AO I wouldn’t think
  7. We were in a 2bedroom aqua on wonder and could control the curtains and lighting with the Ap. Not sure about any other room type
  8. I’m not totally sure what you’re asking. Do you mean that you ordered things from the cruise planner and you would like them delivered at certain times? I suspect that unless you have access to a concierge or genie this would have to be arranged with the room steward and it would be hard to do that until you get on board. I have never been in this scenario though and perhaps others can comment better. It might help to clarify your question a bit if possible.
  9. We stayed in this room before. Our genie suggested and I think he was right to see the aqua show once from the theatre and once from the room because the experiences are different. I would suggest you do one showing with your friends at the suite, and ask the genie to have food or an ice cream bar brought up for that, but anticipate you won’t really see the whole show especially with that large a group. There is not enough seating with enough placement for that many people, but if you were ok with some show and some socializing you’d have a good experience. Have a plan though to see the show properly from the theatre another time, so that you get the full show as well
  10. We were in Bermuda last year. As I recall there is an extra little customs building you go through on the way on and off the ship where they look through your bag and check ID. It was a bit more scrutiny than at most Caribbean ports I’ve been to. I don’t particularly know how interested they are in food versus other things.
  11. Liberty was our first cruise, and we found it a nice size. Enough to do, but not super crowded and a manageable size. On the other hand if the people you are planning for like to see it all and do it all they might really appreciate all that an Oasis class ship has to offer. The itineraries you’re considering are pretty different and you could let that also factor in. Bermuda is lovely because you get a bit more time, the opportunity to overnight, etc. if you did a bigger ship out of Florida you could on the other hand include Coco Cay, and get a few more ports.
  12. Sounds like a family panoramic ocean view stateroom
  13. She probably means Chihuly Garden and glass which is quite beautiful.
  14. I have never seen one at the soft serve. I seem to recall their being low sugar dessert options in the main dining room though
  15. Is it just me or is this poster being incredibly rude to people who are just trying to help them?
  16. You can get a tour of the bridge for free as part of star class
  17. Mariner to Bermuda so it has to be supervised but can be antigen or pcr
  18. Hello! We are Canadians on what seems like one of the last sailings requiring COVID testing next weekend! Any suggestions for a COVID testing site in Orlando? Do any Canadians have recent experience with CVS or Walgreens and whether they are charging non locals for testing? Thanks in advance for any tips and advice. We were not keen to do the emed tests as we don’t have a local address for shipping
  19. If it’s a telemedicine test I think the website says that it has to be authorized by the FDA. This was an issue for us using a telemedicine test that is authorized in Canada only. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/is-there-a-telemedicine-option-for-pre-cruise-covid-19-test
  20. I have to imagine that everyone on your itinerary will be in the same position so the cruise line must have a plan for managing this. Any chance you booked with a TA and can ask them?
  21. I’ve used the rapid pcr at Walgreens before and it was excellent. Results were very quick. If you can get an appointment time it’s super easy
  22. This is so wrong! Their website does not even say a lot number is required, just the name of the manufacturer (see attached from their website). Im so sorry this happened to you!
  23. We went on Harmony a few weeks ago and are from Canada. We used tests from Canada that did not list this number and had no problem.
  24. We just got home to Canada and found that Walgreens rapid pcr was the best. Free and results within an hour. Lots of availability in Orlando area
