  1. Not sure why my TA said this could be canceled but i guess the upgrade is final and non-refundable. So can't change this if i wanted to. Moderator you can close this one out. But cautionary tale to those bidding on a RU. Be sure you outweigh the risks of changing rooms.
  2. I paid 16.99 for the Key when I was on Freedom for a 3nighter. So it can be cheaper, but it probably depends on the ship and how long the sailing is.
  3. @SheSellsSeashells Do you think you can snap a picture of what the Boardwalk rooms look like all the way in the back next to Rock Wall? Portside. it is probably the row of rooms that have portholes and not square windows. Do you think these rooms can see out the back to the sea ?
  4. Agree with speednoodles. if you are in a suite or Diamond member or higher...NO. if you are below that level and it's under $20/day, then yes. because it includes the internet and they priority emb and disemb. I did enjoy having the Key and it's perks, but it has to be for the right price.
  5. Sorry yes Boardwalk view. i think they call it promenade on cruisedeckplans. I don't want to pay any more money, so...
  6. So on my upcoming Oasis trip, I won a RU for $80 -Going from a Boardwalk View (AFT) #7325 last room behind rock wall - probably a porthole window to an Oceanview #7518 all the way forward. Both 7th deck. The interior boardwalk view is 194 SF. The OV is 179 SF. The boardwalk view room is last room AFT Port side, not sure of what my view will be looking out to the promenade. I doubt I'll see any water but maybe some through Aqua Theatre? The OV is all the way Forward Starboard side, like 4th window in..railing is outside window according to pictures. I'm not seeing much of an upgrade here. The room is smaller. The view isn't going to be that good? It's hard w/o seeing things in person. But I have been Forward on my past 2 other cruises and would like to see what it feels like in another part of the ship. If i cancel, there might be a chance I lose the one I had too. Who is very familiar with Oasis and these rooms ? @Matt Stay or "upgrade"?
  7. Keep this in mind as well at least one month before your cruise. Bermuda travel authorization
  8. How were the temps on board and on route? Was it very windy and chilly? Wearing long pants and a windbreaker necessary? I'll be leaving out of Bayone on 5/22 and want to make sure Day 1 I'm dressed accordingly. No swimming pool I assume. Although maybe good weather for hot tub!
  9. I have been doing the Deluxe Bev package with Voom on my 2 sailings this year.
  10. I hope this is an isolated scenario. I'm on her on May 22.
  11. thanks found it. that's a pricey trip and you have to fly to Panama to get the ship. i'll pass on this one.

  16. following my cruise is not until October, so i'll be keeping an eye on this.
  17. When I was on Freedom in February, they were NOT open for breakfast. I won't be on Oasis til May though, so can't report on current sitch.
  18. the room service coffee was good. When I was in the suite, I ordered for one and got 2 carafes and 4 bagels. I like having it delivered before I go to breakfast cuz most of the time I'm up early.
  19. Sorry if this is answered in here somewhere, but knowing the current issues with supply chain, what have you found is the cheapest way to purchase alcohol? I want to get some Kraken. 1. Locally at the port 2. Duty free in the ship 3. Still here in our own liquor stores in the good ole US of A
