On our first cruise, Jan 2020, my spouse and I spent @$300 in the casino. Since then we have received 4 free cruises. My assumption is that because they are trying to fill ships right now (and way back when we got 3 free offers) that they are looking for anyone that has spent money on a cruise, either drink package, gambling, dining package, whatever.

You guys had me freaked out. The first time I saw it I thought "all cruises". But I see it is just for those sailing out of Barbados.

Who just release these new protocols? Barbados or CDC?

Those are incredible pictures. The costuming is absolutely fantastic. Makes me want to book the Odyssey just to see the show.

I understand. I have felt that way for a couple of days now. I spent hours on the phone trying to get someone to make the change on the insurance card. Thing is, Marketplace has the correct info, but when you get down to the actual company, they have it wrong. I feel like if we take the adoption papers, her DL and SS card we will be good. I do though have an inquiry sent to RC just in case. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Thank you for that answer. I am planning on taking all the documents and hoping that it will be sufficient. I have also contacted RC and if they give me an acceptable answer, I will print it and take it with me. There is one thing that still concerns me and that is that the pharmacist wrote the new last name in blue ink and everything else is in black ink. The vaccine rules state the following: Fraudulent Documentation of Vaccination We will record all documentation of vaccination and review it for signs of fraud. We routinely provide documentation of vaccination to immigration, health and port authorities in the ports where we call. Falsifying documentation of vaccination is a crime in the U.S. and may lead to criminal prosecution in the various jurisdictions from where we sail, and in our ports of call. We reserve the right to deny boarding or remove from the ship any guest whom we believe has submitted a falsified documentation of vaccination. We further reserve the right to bring a civil action against any guest who submits false documentation of vaccination to recover all costs and damages caused by such fraudulent conduct. I'm hoping by contacting RC ahead of time that will alleviate any chance of this happening.

My granddaughter (age 21) is going on a cruise with us. She was adopted, but her name was never changed with her insurance company. The place where she had her vaccinations given put her original name on the vaccination card. We have tried to have it changed, but the store refused to do it until it is changed in the computer system from the insurance company. So we proceeded to contact the insurance company and after many phone calls we were able to put in a name change request. We have been told it will be 30-45 days before the change will go through. Our cruise is in two weeks. In the meantime, we visited the store again and they relented some and added her new last name on the card. However, the original card was in black ink and he added the new name in blue ink. I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Is there someone specific at Royal Carribean that I can contact?

I'm confused about showing the DD 214. I have seen where you can get the military discount when doing a booking, and it has shown up on our booking receipt, but I was not aware that you actually had to show the DD 214 to get it. I have never seen a price increase due to not showing it. I would be interested in more information. My husband served 8 years in the military.

Do we have to scan our vaccination documents each time we take another cruise?

The cart we took from the red shirt guys was $60.00. Very difficult to get around with the map they provided. We talked to a taxi driver and he said he would drive us there for $4.00 one way per person. Better bargain. Krazy Lobster has excellent food.

How does one have this cruise already booked?

When we went, the area was set up for a 12:00 and 12:30 check-in. We arrived about 11:15. They started taking the 12:00 about 11:30 and shortly thereafter, we were called. On the ship by 12:00. This was for Indy, Oct 20, and we had @1400 guests.

Any other places? Walking is an issue for one of us.

I totally understand what you are saying. However we didn't experience that on our cruise on Oct. 20 on Indy. Maybe it was us, I don't know. But looking forward to our cruise in Nov. on Adventure. Taking daughter and 2 granddaughters so at least we will have our little bubble.

We will be going on the January 30 cruise on Oasis also. Never been on that big of a ship before.

Where can you get coffee very early in the morning on Oasis?

Yes, a nice luxury for 3 girls. But you do bring up a good point about the rooms being close to each other. On closer inspection, the offer sent to me was for 2 balconies. So many options.
