Photos weren’t required when I completed my check in for Symphony in Oct. I was able to secure earliest boarding slot with out uploading any pictures. 

Ahh gotcha. You’re right it’s not shown on the deck plan, but it is located directly across from Sugar Beach (adjacent to Next Cruise)

Escape Room is deck 15 (according to shipmates deck plan)

Cafe Promenade is deck 5

Symphony for sailing on 10/23/21 opened exactly 90 before, despite the fact that the test cruise was even wasn’t set to depart for a few weeks after check in opened.
 

I completed check-in ~9am on the first day available for check-in and got the earliest time slot available (1-130). So basically I’ve come to learn…who the hell knows.

Have you considered looking into an Air BnB or VRBO? You should be able to book a very large space for the price of 13 hotel rooms. Just a thought. 

Just saved $250 for Oct 23rd sailing . Painless process…~20mins on phone with Royal and all set with OBC. 

Forgot to add that Symphony test cruise isn’t until Aug 1st..

I just checked in for the same cruise as Jill (Symphony in Oct). I found the app also stated check in was unavailable so I had to initiate check in from website. Once I complete on website, the “check in” button on the app worked where I could view our set sail passes. 
 

I recommend giving the website a try if App still not working for those Sept dates. Good luck!
