  1. Concierge guests don't get any priority access to Coco Cay as a published benefit. Some concierges will do it though.
  2. I still can't believe this wasn't part of the original plan.
  3. No surprise. The Caribbean nation coalition plus the USA essentially told him he needs to go.
  4. For the time being I wouldn't be surprised if insurance or other powers that be suggested they don't allow any guests to have any opportunity to leave the "island" which is all those boating tours.
  5. I had to go see what the fuss was about. Goodness, it feels like trying to book a flight on Frontier's website. So many nickel and dime options.
  6. That's quite a spread. Hopefully it stays like that (though maybe without the ice sculptures) once the new car scent wears off.
  7. Onboard credit is "fungible" If you have $600 in OBC, that just means the first $600 in charges to your on board account will be covered by the OBC.
  8. Well seeing as a boat ride would be about 200 miles, it wouldn't be quick.
  9. App credentials and internet credentials (which you set up on the ship each cruise) are totally separate.
  10. But none of that is applicable to cellular service while the ship is at sea.
  11. Despite the chaos, these gangs are doing what they're doing in the name of Haiti. Attacking a bunch of Americans (and with that, people from 50-100 countries) wouldn't help them at all
  12. The mechanical equivalent of rotator cuff surgery
  13. I believe when White Night was first created, something got lost in translation. Tomato sauce + white top = Spite Night.
  14. Definitely VOOM. Cellular cruise packages may say $60 but you'd be surprised at the amount of data you'll use without thinking you're using any. VOOM may come out more expensive, but no risk at overage fees and a better guarantee that you'll get a signal.
  15. The ships, even the older ones, are built to minimize any water damage. Crews were extra busy that next week (and some passengers inconvenienced) but there was not any true damage to the ship. Just some extra cleanup that had to be done
  16. This seems dumb. Who cares what the backdrop is. Is a picture at Chops that much more desirable and memorable than from the MDR?
  17. If shorts are your thing, go for it.
  18. Caribbean = Caribbean night Every other night = Casual
  19. Falmouth is coffee beans, a Red Stripe, maybe a little souvenir shopping, then back on the ship.
  20. Passengers are to be on board 30 minutes prior. But agree on the above for independent stuff. Unless we're just hanging out right there in the port area, we stick to 2 hours prior to give adequate buffer.
  21. Debating on a message board is stress relief, so no harm done. Take care of yourself.
  22. It depends. It could be all lumped into the primary on the reservation or it could be split among the first 2 guests or split evenly. As mentioned above, go to GS if it's not split the way you want it. Though this is only useful if you're going to have people using different credit cards on board. If all guests are on the same CC, it really doesn't matter.
  23. In the end, it's like anything else in life. Evaluate your own risk as you see fit and go from there.
  24. I don't think that it's strange. You booked the room because there's a chance you need an accessible room. Seems more than logical to hedge your bets on ensuring your cruise is as enjoyable as possible.
