I'm.kinda confused as to why people are getting refunds before FCC in some cases. You'd think royal would want to give the FCC over refunds. I'm do for my fcc on April 30th. Im chomping at the bit to upgrade my room just waiting to see how much I'll be getting back. I've done the calculations two different ways (based on how I've seen it done or others) and both ways I think I can upgrade our room. Also want to get in cruise planner and book my stuff but again waiting on the cruise planner 125% credit. Totally missing the $49 drink package which kills me

Music to my ears. I agree with everything you said. As far as behind on testing that makes.sense. basically the whole country is plateauing even NYC. I'm very optimistic that social distancing my be lifted by July!

@AGSLC5 every time I see south Florida's covid numbers a cringe and can't imagine anyone cruising out of port Miami or port Everglades any time soon. I'm thinking more September. Have a cruise in October so def hoping for that

@711Dave interesting. I was part of the second wave as well but went the FCC route. I wonder why refunds have started but the credits have not. You'd think it'd be opposite

@Pima1988 that's what gets me I've never seen it. But my family and friends who've traveled with over the years on airplanes can attest that I clean the chairs in the terminal and my husband will roll his eyes while saying yes that I wipe down all three or two seats in our row , window, and tray table. This I've done for years They make travel size Lysol wipes for people like me I suppose. I also do a quick wipe down of the cabin each day on the cruise

It baffles me how any theme park will open at all after this. I saw emails from universal to pass holders saying they plan to open 20% , 40%, 70% so on and so forth. Maybe for parks like universal only have 20% occupancy may not be that bad but Disney could never do that. The are known to back every park to the brink. Opening a Disney park at 20% id imagine a good number of rides shows and dining would be closed since with so few people why would Disney pay it's castmembers to all be there. Theme parks just seem doomed to me unless covid suddenly disappears forever.

Yep same here. I mean I wonky work weekends so the most I can go is 6 days ..I can probably ask my partner to do the covid patient scans (CT scan) but I mean making her do them for 2 weeks is kinda lame. Not to mention how would royal know I didn't have covid patients or not. Hopefully by October it cools down and the so called second wave we can handle better by then

@Chadster just waiting on my future cruise credit to make tho move. My math says we will be able to cover it. Who knows what royals math comes to. But even if it's an additional 100 or 200 I'll bite It's nice knowing we'll have more space to God forbid we get stuck

Okay okay I think I'm sold on the junior suite since it's covered by my FCC On my may sailing I had the key booked and we had it last year in navigator and really thought it was worth it. Question all knowing royalcarribeanbloggers is the key something that still adds value even if we have a junior suite? I know it's not worth it for GS and higher

@WAAAYTOOO your correct im mistaken ? @Tim B. I think your comment sold me on the junior suite! We are celebrating my relatives graduation from nursing school so extra special room would be fun

@WAAAYTOOO wow that was nice of your neighbors I didn't realize there were some junior suites in the hump too that may be a game changer especially if we can find two next to eachother since we're going with my relatives. @STANMELB I'm nervous about a JS as once I have it I fear that's the only way I'll cruise ? we thoroughly enjoyed it hump balcony on navigator last year so I'll have to hold onto that memory

@Buzzard05 oh I see. I was part of the first round of cancellations and we will be getting our FCC supposedly in a week...I understand not wanting to pay anymore for a cruise whose deposit is due soon. I ha e enough money tyed up in royal. I'm not giving more

Independence of the seas I currently have a balcony room booked hump room center balcony on deck 7 Since this cruise is drastically cheaper then my canceled one I beleive I have enough for a junior suite room. Which would you go with. I know the junior suites don't come with to many perks but large room sounds appealing to me. No guarantees I can get a jump room for this category though.

Don't know if this helps you or not but my agent said she could out a hold on the room without a deposit . My FCC will cover my October replacement crusie in full including the deposit. She also said I could out down $5 do have access to the cruise planner too but since I went for the 125% cruise planner credit there's so reason to look at that bc I won't be putting anymore of my money towards royal right now. Just what I already spent

Lots of loungers. You can go in the wave pool or enjoy they smaller slides. There's also a snack shack available there so you can get soemthing to eat while you wait. I was all about that tall red slide but let me tell you I was very scared up there I did not expect that. But of course the quickest way is down and I did it but it was one and done for me. The other slides there were much more enjoyable Loved the drop slides they don't get enough love on these boards!

I really hope it's credited on April 27 so I can get the $49 deluxe Bev package as well!

I received the same email. I called royal and my agent and sent royal a.message on their Facebook page. They said my account definitely said I'd be getting a refund for cruise planner credits at 125%. Said it comes the same.day as the FCC in April 30th for me (canceled cruise was may11)
