  1. On the website If you go into the order history for them you should see it there. It also says someone else made the purchase and they cannot modify it. on the website I can see my own reservation dining booking as well as the 2 cabins I am linked with when I click on their reservations and look at their calendars. I recently made s reservation for myself snd husband (same reservation) and could swear I booked both of us. Thankfully something came up that had me checking out my reservation and I had not booked him and I was able to fix it. double check that your order is the proper $ amount for the number of people and that all parties are listed (look at your own calendar)
  2. According to the blog meetings are self led, therefore I doubt there’s anyone will provide a chip. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/08/17/what-friends-of-bill-w-cruise Prayers for continued sobriety, one day at a time.
  3. The drink package will include gratuities (you’ll see the full price in your cart). as for excursions etc, list the ports and I’m sure someone who has been there will give you some ideas. my tip, set alarms on your phones to come back to the ship on time. They don’t wait for you if you are late and not on one of their excursions.
  4. If money is no object go for it. I typically treat my family of 6 to a Chops lunch as it is 1/2 the cost of the Chops dinner, purchase in the cruise planner for the best price. I did treat my family to Chops dinner on Father’s Day last year, only because they were closed for lunch!
  5. If 2 of you have suite set sail passes and walk with your 90 year old aunt to the suite line I highly doubt they’ll make her go back around to the “regular” line.
  6. If I had to guess the middle night would be Caribbean, basing that on the supposedly first night in the Caribbean it will be the Caribbean menu rumor.
  7. Guest services now stated to ask your stateroom attendant for the Compass. that does not get you Day 1 though. If you want a physical copy of Day 1 insist at Guest Services . Also note you may not see your stateroom attendant in Day 1. I leave a note on my bed requesting the paper copy of the Compass for the length of the cruise.
  8. Just saw a post elsewhere about a woman overboard from Mariner. They were able to rescue her , alive.
  9. It would be nice to get C&A newsletters. They’ll never get it right for me
  10. The Central Park balconies located close to the pool deck will hear the pool parties-as the DJ will be loud. If you like to sit out expecting quiet you’ll be disappointed during those times. don’t hand things on the balcony rail as the wind has been known to set clothing flying. draw the sheer curtain unless you don’t mind people looking in from across the way.
  11. I recommend you stop by the Internet assistance desk when you board. At times there are issues with some of the settings on phones which can negatively impact the ability to use the phone as you would think it would work. another option besides FaceTime is WhatsApp. It is an app, you can add it to your phone now and have your kids do the same. I use it as an alternative when facetime is spotty
  12. Still exists. Attendance is super spotty. I still recommend joint the roll call here for your sailing or the Facebook group for your sailing and see if she can make social media connections prior to sailing for the first day and/or evening. The reason I recommend connecting prior to sailing as not everyone will have the internet package. Once onboard and connected via ship WiFi they can add each other using the Royal app chat feature and then communicate that way if they don’t have the internet feature.
  13. Write down your C&A number. log into the website click on your profile click on My loyalty delete your loyalty number (you have it written down if a pic) log out log in follow above and add in your loyalty # if that doesn’t work call C&A 1 (800) 526-9723
  14. The outside lots have 2 different ways of doing things. The one across from the terminal gives you the ticket and you can pay at the machines when you get off the ship. The machines are located outside of the garage. the other outdoor lots are located directly straight ahead, as you are “leaving” the terminal area, or to the right as you are “leaving the terminal”. -instead of making a left to exit the terminal area you make a right. Those lots have attendants that take card only and you pay before you enter the lot. I just did this 2 weeks ago on Liberty (the lot that’s straight ahead) and hubby just parked to the right -a lot I never knew existed-this week for his Liberty sailing.
  15. Liberty opens the door for dinner at 5:15. Arrive then and tell your server what time you want to be out of the dining room and follow up with a reminder. 2 weeks ago on Liberty we had 2people at my table who wanted to be at a 7pm show. They arrived early, stated their intentions and the service was not sped up. They ended up skipping dessert and leaving the dining room at 6:45. This isn’t typical. I wonder if the server misunderstood.
  16. Looking forward to this cruise. I guess I should start reviews of everything I have to pack, excursions and currency so I can get everything in place.
  17. I went in July of 19 and never saw mosquitos. I really lucked out since I didn’t pack bug spray!
  18. Yes! I left the ship with my umbrella. All was good, On the way back the sideways mist and wind was quite the combination. I had to fold up the umbrella when I got near the ship. I looked like a drowned rat, my makeup ran down my face. It was an experience. I booked June 1 for next year on Liberty, hopefully one of the 2 days, if not both, will be good!
  19. Prime discount is 30% off of the onboard $29 per day. Typically the cruise planner has a better deal.
  20. Just an FYI, I did a sailing in April that went to Columbia and everyone was required to have passports.
  21. You are inside of the no refund policy, I’m surprised they’d allow a change. When you make a change to a reservation it is subject to current rates (prevailing rate is another term used here). It is mentioned in various locations on the discussion group, I cannot pinpoint the threads , but the topic comes up often-adding someone to a cabin, removing someone from the cabin etc.
  22. Even when you look at booking originally prices vary from week to week.
