Also email the CEO and let him know your dismay.

Reminds me of when hubby snd I sat through a timeshare spiel ages ago (for free Disney tickets) and the salesman says “oh you’re from NY, well these 2 bedroom units can easily hold 16 people and no one will say anything”. I couldn’t imagine cramming so many people into one place but I most definitely wouldn’t want to leave NY to be in a unit surrounded by large groups on all sides!

If it’s magnets you value don’t hang them. Too many cruises I’ve seen people post in the FB group that someone stole their magnets. I imagine it’s more like a prank, took and moved, but I’ve never heard that they’ve been found.

If there is empty space in any of those places it could be a noisy staff area of mechanical area which can be noise at any given time. Definitely don’t book just below the pool deck or dining rooms snd be leery of booking above the bars. the only “surprise” noise Ive had with my method was anchor noise, so booking all the way forward can mean anchor noise.

If the cabin is adjacent to or directly across from you you may be able to no show the husband, depending on the age of the kid. If the kid is “too young” then n his cabin and the one in yours is older you can swap the kids. Ideally you have a connecting cabin where you can open the interior door. If you booked with a travel agent reach out to them, if you booked with Royal then you need to call them.

Royal only recognizes your age when you board. They will not adjust a seapass card to reflect 21 when you turn 21 during the cruise.

The docs get emailed about 30 days prior to your cruise you can also find them in your account, once they become available by logging into royal Caribbean, look at upcoming cruises and then click on “view more details”” and then you’ll see what’s in the pic to be able to view your docs and print your luggage tags

I hope your cabins are somewhat close together. Had they placed you on 4 different decks spread out between forward and aft I imagine you would be more upset. should you decide you like Royal, despite your cabin location, then next time you book you can decide if it’s worth booking a GTY or just picking your cabin

On the website If you go into the order history for them you should see it there. It also says someone else made the purchase and they cannot modify it. on the website I can see my own reservation dining booking as well as the 2 cabins I am linked with when I click on their reservations and look at their calendars. I recently made s reservation for myself snd husband (same reservation) and could swear I booked both of us. Thankfully something came up that had me checking out my reservation and I had not booked him and I was able to fix it. double check that your order is the proper $ amount for the number of people and that all parties are listed (look at your own calendar)

The drink package will include gratuities (you’ll see the full price in your cart). as for excursions etc, list the ports and I’m sure someone who has been there will give you some ideas. my tip, set alarms on your phones to come back to the ship on time. They don’t wait for you if you are late and not on one of their excursions.

If money is no object go for it. I typically treat my family of 6 to a Chops lunch as it is 1/2 the cost of the Chops dinner, purchase in the cruise planner for the best price. I did treat my family to Chops dinner on Father’s Day last year, only because they were closed for lunch!

If 2 of you have suite set sail passes and walk with your 90 year old aunt to the suite line I highly doubt they’ll make her go back around to the “regular” line.

If I had to guess the middle night would be Caribbean, basing that on the supposedly first night in the Caribbean it will be the Caribbean menu rumor.

Guest services now stated to ask your stateroom attendant for the Compass. that does not get you Day 1 though. If you want a physical copy of Day 1 insist at Guest Services . Also note you may not see your stateroom attendant in Day 1. I leave a note on my bed requesting the paper copy of the Compass for the length of the cruise.

The Central Park balconies located close to the pool deck will hear the pool parties-as the DJ will be loud. If you like to sit out expecting quiet you’ll be disappointed during those times. don’t hand things on the balcony rail as the wind has been known to set clothing flying. draw the sheer curtain unless you don’t mind people looking in from across the way.

I recommend you stop by the Internet assistance desk when you board. At times there are issues with some of the settings on phones which can negatively impact the ability to use the phone as you would think it would work. another option besides FaceTime is WhatsApp. It is an app, you can add it to your phone now and have your kids do the same. I use it as an alternative when facetime is spotty
