  1. Maybe theres an Icon Facebook group where you can find your answer?
  2. write down the pros and cons of each way-I personally feel overall cost is a factor. I wouldn’t mind using the Brightline (never have). my mind-lose the money for the cheap hotel PLUS the cost of an expensive Miami hotel….id be learning how to use Brightline! -or Uber!
  3. We had issues with Radiance returning late to Tampa last week and they only gave 1 hour (it was not written in the letter), no advice to see guest services for a phone line (was announced, not in a letter-so we all know how announcements go) and they did not provide anywhere to upload documents nor discuss change fee costs. What a difference!! Glad to see they are a as bit more on the ball here. I agree $200 doesn’t cover it.
  4. That is the correct number they’ve taken stupidness to a whole new level. Keep saying loyalty or crown and anchor….i forget which. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Good luck!
  5. The sailing I did that went to Columbia required passports, we sailed round from the states. Lots of disappointed people at the port when they only had birth certificates’ royal MAY have fixed that issue by now, I recall my Greenland cruise (roundup from NJ) You could only select passport as your travel document.
  6. When I see changes like this I usually think “lawsuit” or to mitigate injuries. I don’t recall seeing outrage or discussion over a lack of motion sensor lights like we saw when there was a threat of “pay for pizza”.
  7. I’ve never seen it in the MDR, but did have it at playmakers. Super sweet. Like I said I don’t typically get desserts but this one was worth it! Hopefully freedom has it!
  8. Nope some reported to use the round magnet that’s on the doors day one but idk how they did that as those magnets were removed on day one (the ones about staterooms and luggage or whatever it says) i did try the rectangular “sleeping off the adventure” magnet but it would not stay on. I agree it could be annoying!
  9. Here is another menu titled main dining room on our 16 nt. Panama Canal cruise baby back ribs-served 2, hubby had 3 smaller ones. I also had salmon as I figured the ribs would be small and they aren’t my thing-gave my husband my second rib. Neither was impressive. 2 at our table had the prime rib and the piece was HUGE , looked good and they were happy with it. the campfire cookie was fantastic. I had that at playmakers once, burnt the heck out of my mouth-served piping hot!! I don’t typically get dessert but this one I knew was “worth it”
  10. When I traveled in a large group we all had the same seating at dinner, and our tables were near each other. This allowed us to all interact at dinner. There were zero expectations that we all did things together otherwise. It’s best that way because lots don’t like trivia or don’t want to club or don’t (insert any item) and everyone was free to do as they liked. Group t-shirts or hat or whatever would be nice for a group photo by royal. For my mil 70th she asked that we all wear navy blue shirts and white pants-obviously communicated this before the cruise. . Photo came out great. .
  11. During our current cruise technicians added motion sensor lights that go on in low light/no light situations when motion is detected near them in the cabins. They are located just outside the bathroom. It’s quite bright and stays on 20 seconds-longer if you are constantly moving near it. pic of it off when the overhead light is on and on when overhead is off and you move near it
  12. It doesn’t” remove “, the small “door” is opened. I found it sad to not be able to sit and see my family in the next balcony-unless you pull your chair to the opening. So yes-it can be opened by the stateroom attendant but it’s not conducive to hanging out together.
  13. Thank you for decoding it “how many people”
  14. If you read the post I responded to he essentially said the staff work less for more pay. That implies the attendants are doing less. “I would love to have a pay increase at work and be mandated to less work, yes please lol!”
  15. I’m onboard, came here to say the same thing. disgraceful they only gave 1 hour free internet to fix your plans.
  16. You would need to specify if your sailing is 6 nights or more or shorter than 6 nights. Additionally if it’s 7 night cruises as your back to back your list will change for week 2 as the cruise would end in November that week would be the November list.
  17. Wow that’s really crappy!! Did you reach out the ceo [email protected]
  18. I’m trying to understand “at least two family members in each room who can go, Hope many temple are you cancelling? Can you move some into another cabin! ex. Cabin 1 was for 4 people but 2 can no longer go. And cabin 2 was the same. You can change names in a reservation as long as you have one original person who was booked in that cabin in the cabin. So if that’s the case move 2 from cabin 2 into cabin 1 and cancel cabin 2. if it’s a different configuration you need to share details to get better input.
  19. The attendants were given more cabins to clean. They now have 25 cabins instead of 10i or 15-whatever their old # was. Their work was not cut in half
  20. I’m on a 16 night cruise and my TA gifted OBC did not show. I had to reach out to my TA, he reached out to resolutions and then it still did not show, so I had to go to guest services to ask them to pull the OBC. They had to put a note to shore side and then I got my cabin credit the next day but had to go back for them to get my MIL her cabin credit. This all took place around day 9!! Theirs incompetence is mind blowing.
  21. If you feel no need to gamble in March save it for April. If you think those machines will hit in March, play them!
  22. I grab hard boiled eggs off the breakfast buffet in WJ and store them in my “cooler” or yeti with ice in it and then bring them to MDR to bolster my Caesar salad, and:or add the salmon and at times the cheese plate to the Caesar salad.
  23. Lucky for you royal has enabled table play points to show up on slot machines. Before sitting at the table check your points, then play at the table and at the end go to any slot machine and see your points. Then you can calculate how much you earned based on your bets, # off hand played, # of people at the table. If you sat at a full table and next time you sit at a fairly empty table with same bets and same length of time your points should be higher as you’ll be playing more hands per hour. that might help you determine what you’ll need to play to get to prime
  24. Wow. Gotta love the inconsistency of Royal. Also gotta love them telling you how much you can eat! At dinner, if I order 2 entrees I ask for both at the same time, if they don’t accommodate I put entree #1 on my bread plate as soon as it’s served--assuming it fits (salmon does as well as the lobster tail-and then hand the plate back to the waiter ask for entree #2.
  25. Nice review. I won’t be able to afford that class unless I hit lotto, or someone awards me a free cabin or adds me to their reservation gratis.(anyone?) I’ve enjoyed sailing Royal, especially the entertainment, that’s one thing we can all enjoy. Hopefully you included any improvements Royal can make on your survey.
