  1. So do they lock the seapass of pins not allowed in the SL/CL? I definitely feel like those small casinos get filled with smoke faster because the vents doesn't work as well. I also agree they can make you feel claustrophobic.
  2. I love having the CL concierge. When I needed to change my reservations on Wonder, the concierge did it in a few minutes and I enjoyed my donuts and hot chocolate while she did it. If I can avoid guest services, I will. But I also agree they should just charge a service fee in the fare. Instead of calling them gratuities. To each their own but I don't care that money goes to laundry or people cleaning the stairs and bathrooms. They work hard.
  3. I like tequila in a marg, not straight. But the burrito thing on Mexican night is pretty good. My brother said the tofu tacos weren't good. How has the casino treated you?
  4. Once you posted the picture I finally remembered that bald spinney guy. You are right the Aqua show on Harmony is a meh. IMHO it is slightly better than OceanAria on Allure but way below Aqua80.
  5. This would be subjective. Some people eat fast, some slow. If you have traditional dining, i.e. 5/5:30, you can tell your server you are trying to catch a show.
  6. I felt the same way on Grandeur, the casino is so small, and it seems like everyone is on a casino comp for the smaller classes. That and the fact that there is often little to do, makes the casino a madhouse. Even during the day, it was hard getting machines.
  7. If it is the origin story, I would imagine its effectors zero and not three.
  8. I had bloody fried chicken on Mariner, which is just as worse. Bloody, raw chicken should never be a thing.
  9. I saw Finest Cali on Mariner, Allure and Wonder in Jan for the bars, but still saw the sunsational for lemonades.
  10. I agree but I personally will book solo to avoid any drink packages. When I travel with a group, I put people who need the drink package in the same room, they don't stay in that room, but it is easier. With Prime offering certain sailings, then winning certain sailings and the drink options for being prime/D+ I often book a solo room. I am a little over 100 points from getting the D340, which will make my solo rooms even cheaper. I know not everyone can do this, but I find a solo room is often cheaper than forcing me to get any type of drink package.
  11. I had to look twice because I was like why would Genie Berty bring them a bowl of ketchup .......then I realized there was a giant bowl of mozz sticks. I should have put my glasses on
  12. It is usually I believe day 4 on a 7n and day 5/6 on longer itineraries. They want to try to sell as many DX as possible before they offer it.
  13. You would each get points, but they don't add points together. So, you each would have 9 points, regardless of your relationship match. You share status and not points.
  14. I am not saying never in regard to creating a new tier, I just didn't agree that the promotion backfired. I am also hoping the casino changes, but not for the worst. I don't want them to make it harder to get comps, but I would like a level between Prime and Signature, master's seems impossible to me.
  15. I would disagree with this. The promotion did exactly what they wanted. Ensured that people would sail during a time when most people wouldn't and rewarded those who were loyal. I don't think it made too many diamonds. Every time someone post the numbers after a top tier event, I am shocked at how low the numbers are. Shocked because people keep saying how that promotion made so many diamond or higher members. On any given cruise the combination of diamond and higher combined, are less than gold or new cruisers. I think it put people where they would be, had they not lost out on 15mths of cruises. Saying all of that, I don't think there needs to be another tier. I know it is 525pt to get to the next "official" tier once you make D+, but the in-between perks are better than being recognized with a pin or some element. Its 25pt between emerald and diamond, why would they put another tier there, they would have to rework everything. Also by having diamond at 80 points it is realistic. That is only 11 seven-night cruises in a balcony or less. Royal's program is pretty great, I just wish it was more standardized across the entire business.
  16. Possibly. Since the 5600 is based on double occupancy, and Icon has the largest number of 3+ cabins. Summer occupancy might be 6500-7000.
  17. Izumi's hot options are really good. Shrimp is the only seafood I eat, so I thought I would struggle with finding options at a sushi place. But Izumi's is one of my favorite specialty restaurants on Royal.
  18. Can I ask did the Boss or you ask for so many fried onions at 150CP???? Also, the main occurrence of shenanigans is people forgetting the clothes they are wearing. The lady who flashed us in the ice show on Wonder was with a vintage who could have been her grandfather.
  19. As what I and @FionaMG stated, you pay what you pay in the cruise planner. If you can do a lunch you get the same items as dinner but at a reduced price.
  20. I don't eat sushi, but I get apps like firecracker shrimp and chicken karaage and entrees like teriyaki and udon(thick noodles) bowls.
  21. I love the family photo, everyone looks beautiful , your daughter looks tall. Where does the time go that 28 y/os have high schoolers.........ain't no vintages in that photo.
  22. Access to the suite lounge which should include the 11-11, full CK access and everything full suites get minus the internet. I agree that $2k is too much for that.
  23. If you want premium options, then the cost is more. The price you pay in the planner is a discounted rate. It would be $57*18% or if you have the UDP the upcharge of $15*18%
  24. My experience, based on 3 different sailings in Jan this year, was they only play it when they announced we have arrived now.
