  3. Hi has anyone stayed in Cabin 9002 on Radiance , i have no problem being that far forward or issues with motion sickness , was wondering about balcony and any obstruction from Bridge or noise issues etc. Thanks
  4. cheers all for the info , as it is a 12 night cruise it worked out not using internet on day one and day 2 and 3 using our diamond free days it was still £15 cheaper paying for all 12 nights on the cruise planner
  5. Is there a % discount on internet for diamond if bought on ship? or is it just the cash equivalent to one day as I am not sure what it costs per day onboard to see if it is worth it or just to buy on cruise planner
  6. cheers for all the replies I went for a Ocean View stateroom as it was cheaper than a VB stateroom
  7. Hi All Does anyone now if on the anthem do all interior cabins have virtual balconies as looked on iglu cruise and there is a difference in price between a virtual and a standard but the photos both show Virtual Balconies. Cheers
  8. We have done 2 cruises this year Carribbean and Europe we used masks in all terminals(airports and cruise) and nearly all the time on board and I would say we where in the minority
  9. Always wear a dinner suit as I never get a chance when at home
  10. especially doing the panama canal(well part of it )
  11. I cruised from there in January for me in the UK it was cheaper even with flights I went to st Vincent, Aruba , Antigua , Grenada , panama ,cost rica, bonaire , curacao and would have gone to Columbia but got cxd , I did not see any cruise going from the states including all those ports in one cruise. Also it seems most cruise's from the us include a stop at one of their islands which does not interest me
  12. Mine took 2 weeks my wife's 2 days , in January both where done at same time in 48hours . But as previously said you can do it at cruise terminal with hard copies.
  13. I got a MYVegas $100 dollar onboard credit which is showing in my cruise planner , can this be used on the ship or do I have to use it just for pre cruise purchases I couldn't see anything in the terms and conditions. Thanks
  14. We where on a 14 night in January only 640 on board
  15. We have just got off grandeur after 14 nights around the Carribbean , we did a royal up from deck 3 to deck 8 ,my wife suffers from seasickness so was a bit worried she did not have a problem and even only took half a tablet (sea sick pills) a day . Regarding noise aft while sitting in the Pacific lounge (aft) the noise when bringing in ropes ready for leaving port was very very loud but only lasted 10 minutes max.
  16. Grandeur of the seas , 3 rooms No 200 total
  17. So this is the first ever that my bid actually worked . I originally had a ocean view (grandeur of the seas) on deck 3 , now have a spacious ocean view 7588 deck 7 (only bidded $200) but it is next to atrium we are not light sleepers but wondering how noisy it may be
  18. I did a live chat on the RCCL website , so I have now the transcript of that discussion , and they state don't need another PCR test to get on ship. So at least I have a paper trail . Fingers crossed the UK government don't change anything Chatrecording.pdf
  19. There seems to be a lot of different information around but the protocols on there own Website now does not mention PCR test (unless unvaccinated ) just antigen test to get on board .
  20. The protocols have changed again as it seems no PCR test needed ( if vaccinated) to board ship just the additional antigen testing done at port . Which is good for us as we where flying in 4 days before so now we don't need to arrange another PCR test while we are in Barbados PCR Testing All travelers age 5 and older require a negative PCR COVID-19 test result to fly into Barbados regardless of vaccination status. The test must be taken within the 3 days before the day you fly into the country. You must upload the result to Barbados’ online Immigration/Customs Form, and show it to authorities upon arriving. Learn more about island entry requirements at Visit Barbados Unvaccinated guests age 2 to 11 must show a negative PCR COVID-19 test result at the cruise terminal for a test taken no more than 3 days before the day you board the ship. If timed properly, the same PCR test result provided for entry into Barbados can satisfy this requirement. Additional Antigen Testing All Royal Caribbean guests age 2 and older, regardless of vaccination status, will take a COVID-19 antigen test at the terminal prior to boarding the ship. Royal Caribbean’s test provider will administer these, at no cost to our guests. Registration details will be sent via email in advance.
  21. The country we are flying to from the UK requires a covid test within three days(72 hours) of arrival , does anyone know is it the time of the test or the time of the result that the 72 hours start ??
  22. I am from the UK so I had to ring Club Royale in the Sates to book it was relatively painless and cheaper as I paid in dollars so my cruise planner is in dollars for that particular cruise. Also I used Skype to call them as they use a toll free number which if you use a landline from the UK there are charges but free on Skype.
