Cruise planner issue - multiple reservations
wannabecruiseexpert replied to wannabecruiseexpert's topic in Shore Excursions
Oops - no I didn't choose ADD. Rookie mistake. Thanks so much! -
(7) people are staying in same cabin. (4) people are on reservation #1 and (3) people on reservation #2. I am trying to purchase an excursion for (2) people on #1 and (1) person on #2. Do I have to order these separately? It has an option for "find new guests" and I can put in the #2 reservation number and then the names pop up to choose but when I go to next, I get an error that says "You must select 3 people". Which I did. Has anyone run into this? Do I need to call their customer service in order to be able to book them all at the same time?

We are sailing in October - same itinerary and we had a bunch more excursions posted this morning when I checked. So check again today and see if more loaded for you too.

Yay!!! My Oct sailing on Allure is also deck 10. I keep looking for an 8 or 9 to open up as well, but even if it doesn't, it's our first experience so I don't care ? Happy birthday!

So excited to be following along! We will be on our first SC sailing in October, with 1 unvaccinated child that is too young so I am anxious to see how everything goes.

Children Covid Testing Type
wannabecruiseexpert replied to dsmithgator's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
On our adventure sailing, the test was the barely in your nose for my 5 year old (q-tip size). The adults in our party and my 13 year old had the regular sized swab but still not the brain one. -

Genie request - photography?
wannabecruiseexpert replied to wannabecruiseexpert's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
The high price seems to be worth it....these are amazing! -
We have the "up to 100" photo package and we have never come even a little bit close to taking that many photos before - Can the genie set up some candid photography that would be included in the "up to 100" and not a separate fee like booking a private session so that we can make sure we get a lot of photos?

CocoCay beach club cabanas....help choosing
wannabecruiseexpert replied to wannabecruiseexpert's topic in Shore Excursions
2 of the adults are our 21 yo daughter and her friend so I can imagine them being at the bar and pool but my only concern with being in the floating and going to the beach was it looked like (from the videos I watched) the sand area was directly in front of the beach cabanas and I wouldn't want to go right in front of them to go "play". Do you know if there's a sandy area that is not by the beach cabanas still inside the beach club? -
Traveling in Oct with (4) adults, (2) 14 year olds and a 6 year old. Debating between the floating cabana and beach cabana. Floating cabana Pro: slide Con: no beach area for the 6 year old to play Beach cabana Pro: Plenty of room for the 6 year old to play Con: From the videos I've seen, they are directly behind the floating cabanas so not much of a view Thoughts? My biggest concern is making sure the little one has a great time and I'm not sure she will enjoy the slide - at a beach she usually plays in the sand and goes out maybe knee/waist deep

Ahh that makes sense. I hadn't thought of it like that. -
Freestyle machines
wannabecruiseexpert replied to wannabecruiseexpert's topic in Royal Caribbean Dining
Gotcha. I assumed there may have been reports from Singapore but I couldn't find anything. -
Does anyone know if the ships that are sailing now have the Freestyle soda machines? Will they be a thing of the past with all of the safety precautions?

Dolphin encounter excursion....where?
wannabecruiseexpert replied to wannabecruiseexpert's topic in Shore Excursions
Great advice. Thank you! -
We have several Caribbean cruises booked and am planning on taking my daughter (13) on a dolphin swim type excursion. Is there a specific port that stands out over others that would be best for a dolphin excursion?
