  1. Right! It only works for the current sailing and the one after it though:(
  2. It was good if you had bought the DBP on Black Friday (when they used to have real sales), and lost out on the discount (Covid cancellation) and needed to buy the DBP at an increased price for your next/new sailing. It covered the higher price and then some with extra 25%. I was able to cash out the balance on slots even though the fine print said non-refundable credit was not allowed.
  3. I would go as far as saying that Matt and his Team at RCB do a tremendous job of informing us to the best of their abilities, and asking for them to keep up with the different RCI policies and procedures from around the globe would be unfair. Living in the UK I am more than aware that some of the discussions here do not apply to me, and vice versa.
  4. They might be referring to the 125% Cruise Planner Credit they offered early in the pandemic, for purchases made for cancelled cruises. I ended up wit A LOT of onbaord credit because of this.
  5. Me as well. I did find that RCI have changed there accepted test wording on their website: All guests sailing from Southampton, England will need to take a test before boarding, as detailed below. Tests must be supervised with the result provided on a certificate which includes the guest’s name and date of birth. Supervised telehealth tests are not accepted for unvaccinated guests – only for vaccinated guests. All tests are at the guests’ expense. No longer mentions lab number, lab address, or certificate number? I was concerned about DAM because when I used them in December 2021 they did not include any of those. I don't sail until September so I have plenty of time to figure it out and use others as guinea pigs, LoL.
  6. We do My Time dining. On Sea days we like 18:30, and on Port days we like 20:00.
  7. Hi jrey51, Neat Trick! If you use the app, you can change the sailing you are assigned to in the app, over to the current sailing. To do this you will need to "select a different sailing" and then "get more details on ships we support" Choose Quantum of The seas from the list and the sailing date which is current, and it will give you menus and activities for the current sailing.
  8. Mine is back up to $87.74 (after the 20% discount, LoL)!
  9. Hi Fay, Lloyd's have a UKAS number at the bottom, which is the UK equivalent. Boots use the same on their certificates.
  10. Some of us pay that in advance with our cruise fare, so we won't have any extra to pay:)
  11. Lloyd's Certificates(below) have a UKAS number on the bottom which is fine for Royal Caribbean, I have also heard people using Dam Health certificates, and mine last December had no numbers on it at ALL.
  12. I have heard of people having better luck by taking a picture of the printout from the app. Don't be too worried, they can always check these at the port when you check-in on boarding day:)
  13. Hello all, Any help or advice you can offer? Me and my wife are fully paid and booked for a cruise, but I can no longer sail. I believe I can no show and she can sail, does it matter if I'm the lead passenger on the booking?
  14. 12 night Cruise to the Canaries from Southampton is currently $82.60pppd. The lowest I saw it for was $61.65pppd.
  15. 1) Anker 5 port USB charger 2) Expanding waistline bottoms, or 1 size too big at beginning of cruise. 3) iPhone for using the APP 4) Sunglasses and contact lenses 5) Ballcaps
  16. I have only used the digital NHS pass for travel(with RCI last October). I have my original vaccine card but I never received a written card for the booster(Yikes).
  17. While it is very convenient to have this approved before boarding day, I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary as they will just need to see it and verify it again at the terminal during physical check-in.
  18. I think the answer is No, if think if you are changing the whole booking it's like cancelling and rebooking at the current price.
  19. I am trying to figure this out as well. One of the test centres here in the UK doesn't include this info either, and I am hesitant to use them until someone else succeeds.
  20. I feel bad for US travelers coming into Europe for their cruises, trying to figure out all the testing requirements and logistics. I feel even worse for those of who live in Europe/UK trying to figure out all the testing requirements and logistics. Believe me when I say we have it much worse over here.
  21. Use the online chat, always quick and easy. Telephone calls have taken me anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Emails are taking 3 weeks for a reply. This all apllies to the UK.
  22. There is still a small percentage of people here in the UK (myself included) still wearing masks on public transport. It doesn't always have to do with COVID.
