  1. There has been a lot of discussion about drink packages. Just wanted to put it out there that for the SOTS sailing for April 11th, its buy one get 50% of the second one.
  2. For SOTS sailing for April 11. The key just dropped to $29.99. Dont know if it's the price anyone is looking for, just thought I would put it out there.
  3. Here in Michigan it is the week before Easter. My Brother's children have the week after Easter. I guess it really depends which state, either way there will be some kids out of school that week.
  4. My family and I are on the Symphony-of-the-seas on April 11th. I booked it before I realized it was spring break. So I am a little nervous about kids running around. Then I remember, I am on vacation on a cruise. Life is good and just have fun plus more importantly...they are not my kids. So I will have another drink and enjoy!
  5. Believe it or not, I am allergic to sun block. I have found a few that I can use, but cannot leave it on all day. Plus I LOVE the sun, so any bit of guaranteed shade is a help for me. Otherwise, at the normal price I would have to think about it, but a huge discount, I am in!
  6. SOTS on 4/11/20 sailing is still $999. Super excited at the thought it might go down in price that much. Guess I gotta keep checking.?
  7. Nope! I know my limits of luck. I don't win at the lotto, scratch off, casino's, or bingo. I should not say i never win, $40 is a win. With that being said, sometime the universe looks out for you. I will say it worked out well, It had to. I was traveling with my husband and our 4 kids and 2 of their friends (youngest 20). Everyone going to different states. I needed a little luck with the logistics.
  8. We were caught in Hurricane Irma also, but with a different cruise line. My 7 day cruise turned into a 12 day cruise. My T-Mobile reversed all call made at the time (did not have to ask) and Delta kept moving my flight each day (with out asking). We just kept checking our Delta App. When we finally got back to Florida, everything was done. We got real lucky. Sometimes the big companies will do the right thing. Here is to hoping they take care of their clients again.
  9. The key is available for Symphony in April 2020.
  10. I thought that way also. We have 3 casino's here that are smoking, and 1 casino across the border that is non-smoking. No matter what time I go (and it is a bit of a drive), it is just as packed as the smoking casino's. They do offer a smoking lounge that is not connected and it has those air tight doors so smoke cant get through. It would be nice if Royal came up with a happy medium, so they can equally take money from both smokers and non-smokers.
  11. I would agree smokers spend more time in the casino then non-smokers. That is only because the smell runs us out. There is always the one smoker who let their cigarette burn in the ashtray or hold the cigarette in their hand away from their face but toward you. I loved a casino, but my time depends on the amount of smoke. Get rid of the smoke, more people would stay longer and play.
  12. My daughter and I had a drunk lady ask if my daughter's breasts were real and then touched them to see. Don't worry my daughter is 25, plus her dad was there in case it got any weirder.
  13. I have been on 14 cruises on different cruise lines. There are always drunk people. Most are happy drunks, talking to loud and just having fun. I enjoy them. One of my favorite things to do is to sit with a drink and people watch. You will run into a few who invade your private space and are a little bit to loving (you know the drunk person who loves and hugs everyone), but still no issues. I only saw security get involved one time. So don't worry.
  14. I saw once on the website that they were going to have over the water cabanas. Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas if this is true or not?
  15. Thank you Lovetocruise2002!! We booked our room almost 2 years ago for the SOTS in April 2020. Just called my TA. She repriced us, we saved $3000.00. We lost $100.00 room credit, but I didn't care. There is 8 of us in the 4-bedroom villa suite. Thank you again for the suggestion!
  16. Can not wait!!! April 11, 2020 Symphony of the Seas
  17. My husband and I have a RCL cruise booked with the kids (all adults) in April. Between now and then him and I are trying to fing something on Celebrity. I am excited now.
  18. I have always fashioned myself a Carnival girl. I've been on both their big ships and their small ships. I then tried NCL, Princess. MSC, and RCL. I love every cruise line. Yes they are all a little different. I have never gone hungry. There is always food to be found, and plenty of things to do. With that being said, I am a little hard pressed to get back on a Carnival Ship. Best advice....Enjoy and have fun.
  19. Took a cruise on Princess. There were a lot of elderly passengers with lap dogs. I do hope they chance the policy to strictly service animals. It was rough watching a dog in a passengers lap at dinner.
