  1. Agreed, big swing and a miss as far as I am concerned. More Value for regular "X" customers to sail Royal than the other way around.
  2. Why? Absolutely no reason, passport and reservation match, end of story
  3. If one is an American citizen and going on a closed loop cruise this passport is perfectly fine. There is no six-month validity rule
  4. Very true, my comment should have been "not intentionally harsh"
  5. I see that thought process now; my apologies. I do similar, I have all my important documents on my office's cloud based server. I can access anything from anywhere.
  6. That is because that is as far out as the calendar goes now; she will be there far longer than 5 sailings.
  7. No that word doesn't trigger me at all, but a Covid vaccination card is, in no way shape or form, a form of legal ID. That was my point. I guess I misread the intent of the post; initially it read, to me, that a picture of your Covid card could be a valid alternative to your missing photo ID. Excuse my poor reading comprehension on that one.
  8. Covid card? Really??
  9. Agreed At that point (at the pier) your insurance probably won't pay either.
  10. You are barking up the wrong tree Pedro Caveat Emptor
  11. No, Allure has Giovanni’s table; the deserts you are inquiring about are only available at Giovanni’s kitchen.
  12. the invisible crew receives a generous paycheck commiserate with the job they do
  13. You need to email MGM rewards program and provide your C&A number and request a match. Sometimes it is a quick process, sometimes it is not. Fair warning, one must repeat this process every February. February 1st of each tear MGM resets their tiers.
  14. I don’t think so, anytime this kind of thing happens it seems it’s almost always on an open deck, not from a private balcony.
  15. If that is the case (I don't think it is) then why are additional gratuities added to the UDP?
  16. I have no desire to go down that rabbit hole, we all know what happens; I am comfortable with my decision, I have been doing it this way since the advent of the auto gratuity. The OP asked how to deal with the gratuities, I gave a very prudent solution
  17. I am aware, I take care of those I feel deserve it on a face to face basis.
  18. cancel your auto gratuity, no sense double paying since you were charged when you booked the UDP
  19. You were given bad information. No one goes “down the ladder” when they turn 18
  20. It isn't really a D+ rate, its a rate that one receives after reaching 340 C&A points. At this level you pay 150% of single cruiser fare, rather than 200%
  21. No sail No points
  22. Yeah, in hindsight that was a dumb question on my part
  23. Sorry, but no one on here feels there is anything “unsafe” about your current situation.
