I'm one of the ones waiting for March cancellations for April and April ones for May trip...
Wow unreal
-
I have no idea how they do the refunds but I canceled may. Fourth and all my money was refunded to my cc on may 18 yet people are still waiting from March
-
Same here told me they put it back six days ago my bank said no. I ask my credit card company to dispute the charge said I have to wait 15 days from when they said they put it back. Waiting on to other refunds from rc said it would take a least 45 days

Ah, so did you book non-refundable deposit option? If so, cancelling would mean $100 per person change fee.
Yes I know that but I was told I would lose 500$

You're past final payment date, so there's two options you have.
1. Refund: If you want a refund, what they told you is correct. You'd incur a penalty for cancelling after final payment.
2. Take advantage of the Cruise with Confidence program: Get 100% Future Cruise Credit, no penalty.
I’m not passed final payment date. That is may 31 that’s why I don’t understand. But I have no intention of canceling Hopefully will be Crusiesing

Need some information. My cruise in not until end of August. Hopefully My final payment is do end of may already paid in full or is a none refundable deposit with insurance I called royal just to ask if I cancel before due date will I get full refund. I was told no I would lose my 500$ deposit and get A fcc for balance I have no plans of canceling but this does not seem right ???!

Banned is a strong word. They changed boarding policies a lot every few days when this disaster was initially unfolding. I don't think anyone knows for certain what the new boarding criteria / policies will be yet. They certainly haven't been announced. IMO, I could see that they could require a note from your doctor stating that the asthma is controlled (such as with the use of inhaler), but I doubt they will ban anyone with asthma from getting onboard. They wouldn't even know if the passenger didn't disclose.

Are you Banned from cruise if if you have asthma. No one from rcc. Seems to know

It's an interesting idea. Perhaps for folks who accepted the FCC as opposed to a refund. That would be a good carrot to dangle to avoid people opting for a refund for cruises that were cancelled (so far).
I. Agree that would be a very good for people who. Take. Fcc

No they did not but if you decide you don’t want to go you can cancel up to 48 hrs before your cruise and get a full refund. But f they canceled it you will get 125%fcc or refund. But no they did not cancel any cruise that were not already canceled
-
No they extended the cruise with confidence cancellation from July 31 until Sept 1 which means you can cancell up to 48 hours before your cruise and get a fcc at 125% or arefund
-

06 June 2020 the first Saturday of the month.
We are not cancelling our 28 June 2020 so if RCCL cancels we will take the 125% FCC and apply to the Thanksgiving sailing. Just saw DCL pushed final payments for their summer sailings back 30 days. I wonder if RCCL is considering this? My balance is due at the end of this month, I guess we will see. (Always pay balance last possible moment, nothing worse then the feeling of missing a price drop because you paid the balance early.)
-
Nope you have to pay the difference and they are a lot more for same itenry I think you should be able to book another at same price but right now rccb don’t see it that way maybe they will change it
