  1. Do they only do lobster night one time if you are on a 10 night cruise? If so which night is it?
  2. Going on Navigator in December and looking to spend between $200 to $300 per night. Any help with hotels in the Long beach or San Pedro area would be appreciated.
  3. Doesn't seem so Royal is still listed on Uplift's site as a partner. Find Partners | Uplift
  4. Allure 2019. Best ship since it's the only cruise with Royal we've been on. The entire staff was amazing!!! The CK was so good couldn't believe that kind of food was served at sea!! Room attendants were very helpful and our concierge staff was so helpful. Looking forward to more cruises with Royal!!
  5. Sorry no help but I'm really interested in knowing so I'm following along, hopefully someone will have first hand knowledge.
  6. With all the comments, do you really think he'll read them and change his ways? Don't think so. He seems like a nice guy but lacks the skills needed to be a content creator. Needs to be a two way street not a one way street and all about him. Hoping I'm wrong and he'll blast me for my posts which will mean he actually read our comments and cares enough to reply. Don't think @Mattwould post on another board that he's live on YouTube this Monday come watch him. If he did I'm sure he'd answer questions or give advice, again don't think Matt would even do that. Just to be clear I don't hate or have any issues with @CHRIS WONGjust wish he would answer people's questions and show some love to the community that @Mattbuilt. Yes that's me riding in on my white stallion to defend @Matt's honor because he's too nice to tell Chris "hey buddy contribute and show some love or leave!" Hi-O SILVER!!! Charge!!! As I get off my soap box now and sheepishly leave...
  7. @CHRIS WONGdo you actually read what other's are posting here? I've asked you a couple questions and no reply? Are you only using this to boost your following?
  8. Thanks, found the actual tour operator site and there were only 3 other reviews all very positive. Considering the cost I'm hoping to ask some questions of someone who's been.
  9. Anyone been on this excursion? It's $600 pp wanted some feedback before spending that kind of money. It's not available on my Alaska sailings next year so thought it might be worthwhile.
  10. Tried as well no luck. Maybe they changed their minds about needing proof? Hopefully it's up by the end of the month.
  11. If you have health insurance through your employer you should check that as well. For my Alaska cruises my health insurance will cover any medical evacuation up to 1 million and health care is covered as usual depending if it's in network or out of network.
  12. It matters not to me who's right or wrong only that an innocent baby is gone. That's the saddest part of this whole drama, maybe it's the families way of dealing with what happened? Denial is easier than acceptance.
  13. Yes, said either passport or birth certificate is required. My ta said passport isn't required before we booked and mine is being renewed so now have to decide what to do. Not comfortable taking my actual birth certificate.
  14. Royal Caribbean releases Alaska cruise ship protocols for August sailings | Royal Caribbean Blog There's a requirement for passports or birth certificate besides the wearing of face mask. Why would a ship full of mostly vaccinated guests need to wear masks? Why would you need a passport we are not stopping in Canada?
  15. Think you need the actual certificate not a photo copy. Same for the birth certificate.
  16. They don't have lobster night on the Alaska cruises?
  17. Think you ask when on board, since it's not the All Access Tour found in the cruise planner.
  18. This was extremely helpful in understanding what one can expect when you have a genie, the questionnaire, emails etc. Thanks so much for blogging your trip! I'm so excited for my SC experience next year!! Oh when you checked in did the genie actually come to the check in area and walk you through the whole check in line or were you met at the entrance of the ship? Have to remember to check out the Intercontinental in Miami for our trip in 2023. Hopefully it'll be back to what you experienced.
  19. Hey have you been in my dresser drawers?! Takes a lot of time to get those jeans greasy just right you know!
  20. @fa-li When we went on our first royal cruise we had CK and ate there every night except three, the first night our waiter was so personable, friendly, interested in getting to know us, we asked him if he could be our waiter the entire cruise. He left and got the maître'd because the wait staff rotate sections every night, the maître'd explained this and asked if we would be willing to rotate sections without hesitation we said absolutely! Just something to be aware if you want the same waiter/waitress. He got the largest tip of all those we tipped ($400). Hope your dining experience will be as enjoyable as ours was.
  21. Lobster from CK. Thought it was okay. Next time trying lobster from MDR. It comes with more sides this was my 3rd or 4th can't remember.
  22. This was what's in your cruise planner correct? They access it and go over the next days activities?
  23. Here's an example of what a TA does, well at least mine ([email protected]). Today received a nice surprise from her stating my cruise next year went down by $310.00! Didn't ask her to check she just did it, she said they have tools that alert them to price changes. No researching or anything, this left me to do my thing. She has a lot of experience in Alaska cruises if you want more information just ask her, no charge.
