  1. You didn't pay because you were in close contact. If it's for travel that's different, you pay for that. Had to do that earlier this year to travel.
  2. Especially if your are going to Alaska, First they make me wear a mask then cancel my excursions because we are spending less time in 2 of the ports. Now we have to get tested at our own expense. We are taking a wait and see approach. My TA said today she's getting a lot of unhappy customers and we can cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before our ship is to sail. I'm going twice next year so waiting until next year isn't a big deal. I'm really hoping there won't be anymore of these restrictions or changes.
  3. You can do either PCR or antigen, PCR takes longer 2 to 3 days, antigen is minutes. We are doing antigen for our Alaska cruise if we go.
  4. Says "no more than 3 day's before arriving..." so I'd say that means Thursday.
  5. When does the ship depart? Midnight!? If almost everyone shows up to test at the terminal how long will it take to test everyone? Hopefully the medical facility can handle that many people.

  8. There any charge to do these? If so how much is it? If there's no charge can you just keep getting in line to do these? Since the ship is at reduced capacity thinking I'd give these a try.

  10. Just listened to Matt's podcast on Alaska. His friend Aaron from cruise critic who just sailed on Serenade, mentioned that in some ports masks are required by some establishments such as restaurants etc. Some places are saying if you are fully vaccinated no mask needed, other's optional. Just be prepared to wear them when you go. Hopefully it will change soon but for now it maybe required.

  12. Yes. It doesn't show arrival and departure times like the cruise planner so it's hard to plan my day. I'm looking at past cruise compasses to try to plan my day. I'm ocd about that. LOL! Could have sworn I did it for our cruise in 2019 on Allure.

  16. @CHRIS WONGthe only 2 questions I asked and never got a reply to are: 1) are you quarantine for another 2 weeks? 2) are you a casino host this cruise? Didn't realize that the social media restrictions didn't allow you to answer these questions? But you standing under the host sign for one of your YouTube videos answered my question. Just seems you made the statement so not have to contribute to THIS community. While your video may have information people may find informative your silence on the board in regards to answering general questions speaks volumes.

  21. Allure 2019. Best ship since it's the only cruise with Royal we've been on. The entire staff was amazing!!! The CK was so good couldn't believe that kind of food was served at sea!! Room attendants were very helpful and our concierge staff was so helpful. Looking forward to more cruises with Royal!!

  23. With all the comments, do you really think he'll read them and change his ways? Don't think so. He seems like a nice guy but lacks the skills needed to be a content creator. Needs to be a two way street not a one way street and all about him. Hoping I'm wrong and he'll blast me for my posts which will mean he actually read our comments and cares enough to reply. Don't think @Mattwould post on another board that he's live on YouTube this Monday come watch him. If he did I'm sure he'd answer questions or give advice, again don't think Matt would even do that. Just to be clear I don't hate or have any issues with @CHRIS WONGjust wish he would answer people's questions and show some love to the community that @Mattbuilt.   25. Thanks, found the actual tour operator site and there were only 3 other reviews all very positive. Considering the cost I'm hoping to ask some questions of someone who's been.
