The only ones they should really help are the ones getting married anboard they could offer guests on other ships a compensation package to give up thier cabins so the wedding and thier guests can get married as planned... but all in all it’s just a cruise take it on the chin and move on otherwise it will eat up up and make you very bitter..?

Wow that’s going to be one big bill for someone insurance company to pay RC, plus I see they are refunding air fare change fee if booked independently which is great news...? hope everyone gets sorted out with new travel plans..

Excellent advice we did exactly this last November when the Navigator lost a stabiliser, I knew the Oasis was perfect for our dates and flights already booked, once the email came with offers we jumped straight for the swap with just 3 days before sailing only 3 cabins available..others missed out and stayed home..?

I really hope if they do cancel RC refund people who book own flights, we have had two cancelled and lost airfares we booked our own, they say will only refund if part of package booked with RC... we sail on her in September so watching with interest, just hope lighting does not strike for a 3rd time ?

Been watching prices for a while now and it’s seems any offer they do in the UK pushes prices up, I’ve got my best deals when there no offers at all.

So much choice, we like to fly into Barcelona tend to do few French ports and head over to Rome, Naples and Pisa back to Barcelona or fly into Venice and do Croatia, Sicily, Greece and Turkey, so many ports to choose but the routes tend to be the same. Ships leaving Southampton 14 nights tend to go Lisbon, Gibraltar, Cadiz, Majorca, Barcelona, Monaco, Pisa, Rome, Naples, and back Southampton again ports can vary... the bay of biscay can be wild ?

For a short cruise maybe yes, but for a 14 night cruise no way the cost would outway the perks..

Oasis in November, lady very over weight in a powerchair which was extremely big, she a had a very small dog on her lap, while in the schooner bar she lowered the dog by its lead to the floor where the dog did it’s business she then pulled the dog back by the lead chocking the dog and drove away not even informing crew, people were discussed and some actually confronted her, she started to rant and rave how she had a disability and the crew are there to tend to her every need and should clean it up. ? we live in a world where people pretend to be something to get extras and real people miss out..

Checked ours......they gave us a massive saving of £3pp on the deluxe package ? hate when they say UPTO 30% we got around 7% discount ?
