I thought the same thing until I saw that they average less than 1 incident per year, and it only affects 1 ship at a time, unlike a storm which may affect multiple cruises. So I don't think it will affect fares.

The owner of a bar called The Big Bamboo let us use the bar as a "refugee camp" for a few days. The building has re-opened as Chez Bamboo. I wanted to go back and have lunch there.

I am on Oasis of the Seas 1/27/19. Has anyone planned an excursion to Virgin Gorda from St. Thomas? Is there enough time to try this, or would it be too risky to go that far from the port?

I am on Oasis 1/27, and the minimum bid to upgrade from interior to Outside view is $300 per person! Ocean view balcony is a minimum of $500 per person bid. Easy choice. Besides, I don't have to worry about closing the shade.

Yes. And if you go alone (like I do) you get double points. After my next cruise on Oasis, I will just be a few nights away from Emerald.

I really like RCCL, but it would be really nice if all of their various "teams" got together to form 1 team. Instead of providing a more transparent and less random system, it seems like it is an even more random game with everchanging and unknown rules.

The problem is they pretend to know and give out wrong information. And it's not everyone, some are really good. But the difference is extreme.
