We are considering taking my MIL on a cruise with us in 2020. We would be booking one cabin, the 2br GT, so I'm not concerned with space or changing cabin categories. Is there any drawback to adding her as a 5th passenger after the initial booking? Do we lose our original booking promotion and all get repriced at the current rate, is the 5th person added under the original promotion, or is the 5th person added under whatever the current promo is with everyone else staying at the original pricing? Alternately, if we book 5 passengers to begin with and then have to drop her off the reservation, is there any sort of penalty? Thanks!

I am prone to motion sickness, however, if I take a half a non-drowsy dramamine every morning of the cruise, I am fine (and the other half as needed if there is a lot of motion). My kids have never shown any motion sickness on land, but I would like to be prepared just in case. What do you recommend, bands, motion sickness pills, or something else, for a 7 and 11 year old?

I was looking at going to one of the animal sanctuaries at Roatan - most likely Daniel Johnson's or Victor Bodden. My husband brought up a point I never would have even thought about - are the animals vaccinated at the sanctuaries? I'm sure it's safe because people go every day, and no weird zombie outbreak has occurred...yet. ?

We're going to Great Wolf Lodge for my son's birthday this spring. My MIL's house is on the market, so hopefully we will be going to help her pack soon. Then our September 1 sailing on Liberty. We homeschool, and my daughter is wrapping up a big state history unit, so we need to work in a tour of Texas on various weekends too.

Interesting that in the cocktail category, only the basic, Classic drinks are now covered by the beverage package limit of $12.

How do you join? Is there a separate card, like in a land based casino, do you register your sea pass with the casio when you get there?

How do you get in your room without the sea pass card? Does housekeeping just leave all the doors propped open?

Bummer! Our kids are 6 and 10. There's no way they would appreciate the meal, and we were hoping for a fancy date night. Looks like we'll be going to Chops instead.

We are considering the Chef's table one night (Liberty out of Galveston). We would like to feed the kids early at the WJ then drop them off at Adventure Ocean when they open up at 7pm. Will this be possible? What time does the Chef's Table start?

Dinner time is coming up, and I am starving! I've been looking over the posted menus and those reviewers have shared, and as expected, a lot has changed since I last cruised 8ish years ago. I'm glad to see the onion tart appears to still be available. I know food is really subjective, but what is your favorite item on the current MDR menu (or something amazing you have asked for off menu)?

I don't know, that's comprable to a lot of senior living facilities in my area.
