  1. If you have access to social media (Facebook/Twitter) that might be the best way to contact them (or call them). I've heard few people being successful with email contact.
  2. If you haven't received an invite email regarding Royal Up, you probably do have to wait until you're within 30 days of the sailing (my experience, anyway).
  3. You can reach the Crown and Anchor Society directly by calling (800) 526-9723.
  4. I don't believe this is the cabin steward personally asking for extra. They are there to use wherever you want around the ship. I wouldn't look into it that deeply.
  5. I've been left envelopes for extra tips on every cruise that I've taken since 1999.
  6. I usually like higher floors, but I love Central Park and the Boardwalk so much that now I prefer to be on Deck 6 or 7 on an Oasis class ship! Plus you're closer to the water, which we personally love.
  7. I always assumed that the Royal Promenade was inspired by the Mall of America.
  8. Highly unlikely. The menu is nearly always the same across the fleet, no matter where you are. You should be able to get it in any Eastern Canadian port, though.
  9. Yes. Luggage tags are available separate from online check in anyway. They will be on the last page of your Edocs as well as just a separate file when you log into your Cruise Planner.
  10. Someone can go in Ceil's place. Changing the name won't change the booking number or reprice it. One of the original passengers does have to stay on the reservation. You could go by yourself. You'd get the port fees back. If you just didn't go you'd lose your money.
  11. If I was quarantined for 10 days, I would miss exactly 2 weeks of work. (Although not if the quarantine started while on vacation. I didn't read the post. Frankly, if people get so wigged out at the "complaint" posts, I wish they'd just ignore them as they'd just sink lower in the feed and disappear, but since y'all dug it up from way down in the list the damage is already done, lol).
  12. Here are some tips from Matt's friend, Sheri!
  13. There are thousands available for no charge. Enjoy!
  14. Many people are starting to put GPS trackers in their luggage for this very reason. It may not help the airline get your bag to you, but you may be able to determine if it's still with the airline or if it's been stolen. One example is below, but there are certainly others. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NRS3YP8?tag=cttv04-20&linkCode=ssc&creativeASIN=B08NRS3YP8&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.3RY5B8EG2VXLP
  15. I hate putting them in a lanyard, too. Since I always have my phone with me on the ship (for photos and for home emergencies) I bought a phone case that doubles as a small wallet. I found it handy because I could not only put my sea pass card in it, but I finally had a place to carry tip money, lol.
  16. No, it wasn't. And I'm not a super brave biker, especially down hills. The tour was filled with people of all ages and various levels of cycling experience.
  17. Chai tea latte isn't coffee. So, for someone who isn't a coffee drinker, and isn't a tea drinker, this isn't "fancy", it's just a hot drink in the morning (or iced, if it's hot). It's just not that complicated.
  18. My tip: When your spouse puts their bicycle helmet on BACKWARDS, be sure to take a photo, or the rest of your life the story will be told that you are the one who did it. Other than that (which I think is very important) there's not much to tip about. It's super fun, very relaxing. Of course check the weather so you know what clothes to bring, but it's pretty simple. They haul you up there, you coast back down!
  19. You can start with the posts above. Hopefully they will help!
  20. You should be able to get one at Park Cafe and Promenade Cafe. It's all I drink (in the non-alcoholic, hot beverage realm) and that's where I get it.
