  1. I just check Royal Caribbean's website frequently. I tried one of those email alerts, but they only told me when the price fluctuated (which is always anyway) and never how it changed in relation to what I paid. I just don't find them remotely useful.
  2. I had my FitBit set to wake me up every 30 minutes last night to check to see if bookings were open. And then I took a Benedryl because I'd been out to the farm and I was all kinds of wheezy. So.....I slept through entire "prices not outrageous" portion of the booking. Never once felt my Fitbit vibrate, which always wakes me up.
  3. The earliest check in time that I've ever gotten is 10:30. They didn't start letting people onto the ship until 11:00. I don't see any point in getting to the terminal at 9. Just get there near your check in time. But, yes, I like to board the ship as soon as I can, so I always try to get a very early check-in time. And some ports do (and should) stick to the check-in times.
  4. It's open? I still get the "explore now" page. Although I doubt it matters. Not sure I want to spend that kind of money at this time either.
  5. I suspect there will be dates beyond April for Icon. It's a hunch
  6. i'm sort of confused as to how Crown and Anchor members will access it a day early. Special link? or just won't go through if you don't put your C&A number when you fill out the form to book.
  7. @Matt- this one is specifically to you!
  8. Go to "order history" in your Cruise Planner. You'll be able to cancel it in there.
  9. I'd start looking late on the 23rd for opening at midnight on the 24th EST.
  10. Ugh, I take it all back. The flight I'd need to take to get to work on time on Dec 24 leaves at 10:50am. It's pretty risky trying to make that flight from Port Canaveral.
  11. They may put a sale on during that time. There are no special Veteran discounts.
  12. It varies by ship. On most ships you enter onto the Promenade (or very close), so it won't take long to get there. You won't have a long line early in the day like that.
  13. If you leave and return to the same port you can sail with a birth certificate. However, while it may be unlikely, if there is an emergency in one of the ports where you would have to fly back to the US you'd need a passport book. You cannot fly with a passport card/birth certificate. Getting a passport book is highly recommended.
  14. Until they are allowed at the federal level they won't be allowed on ships. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/prohibited-items-onboard-policy
  15. It's fine to print them in black and white if that's all you have access too. Have fun!
  16. Radiance Class and Vision Class don't have an internal promenade. Quantum class has the "Esplanade (really, not that different from the Promenade").
  17. I feel like most of the Caribbean ports are carbon copies of each other, so if I do something fun at one or two of them on a sailing, I'm pretty much good for the week.
  18. I corrected it, but you can always edit your posts/titles by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right-hand side of the post. Thanks for the info!
