  1. I don't think you'll have any view obstructions. You're underneath the FlowRider, so you may get noise (music) from that deck when you're out on your balcony, but otherwise I don't foresee any issues. I used https://cruisedeckplans.com/DP/member/dragdeck.php?ship=Symphony-of-the-Seas&zoom=1 to view what one deck looks like on top of another. It's super handy and there are lots of user-uploaded photos and videos available.
  2. I rarely heard any noise, and I really liked being close to the elevator/stairs.
  3. For those not in the know, is this good or bad?
  4. You will have to wait until your next cruise, but congratulations!
  5. I haven't had a cup waiting in my cabin upon embarkation since pre-Covid. If I want it, I need to pick it up at a bar. I never want it, so I don't pick it up, and I don't need to bring it home. It's a much better system, imo.
  6. We were directly under the Windjammer on Navigator. We never heard a thing.
  7. As with many things, with more platforms with which to report (message boards, podcasts, cruise-related YouTube channels, it's reported more. It used to be that nobody would have known anything about these incidences unless they were actually on the sailing, and then they probably didn't have anywhere to announce it to the world.
  8. I've never had issues getting reservations on embarkation day. You may not get the exact time you want, but I've never had trouble getting something within a half hour of when I wanted.
  9. We experienced really odd cheese on Voyageur in the Windjammer, too. It was nearly watery thin and a very bizarre color. Lunch options never varied in there (that may be normal). We typically stay out of buffets, so we weren't too put out.
  10. There are several apps where you can locate places to stash luggage for an amount of time. Off hand I can think of "Stasher" and "Luggage Hero". You can do a Google search for "Luggage storage" and find locations hear you.
  11. They'll charge what people are willing to pay. If they can fill it up at $75/person, they'll charge that.
  12. I'd suggest booking with a good travel agent. Many of us use the agents at M.E.I. Travel (you can get in contact with them by filling out the yellow form on the main page of this website www.royalcaribbeanblog.com ). I'd suggest staying away from booking through a place like Costco, Expedia, etc as you may not get the personalized service that you likely need.

  14. I know that you can add it later if you are checking in on the app.
  15. Always better with a good travel agent that charges you no fee (M.E.I. is used by many of us - you can reach them by filling out the yellow form on the home page https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/ if you are interested in using them).
  16. La Camaronera in Little Havana is our favorite place. Their snapper sandwich is amazing (also their shrimp empanadas).
  17. You will have to make reservations once on the ship. We usually make reservations sometime before 7:30 to be sure we make the later shows. It doesn't matter what time you picked when you booked the 3 night dining package - you can change it the time and/or restaurant once you're on the ship. The price may vary, however it can sell out, so if you want it, it's best to grab it and just watch for a lower price.
  18. I've been privately corrected, stating that my statement was incorrect. Hopefully that person will just reply here, where it's actually useful.
  19. I booked. I have no idea whether or not I'll be able to go, but the price was super reasonable and it's a Group Cruise (we just had nearly this same sailing this past September, but Mr. SpeedNoodles does love a Can/NE cruise. I'll maybe eventually tell him that I booked it).
  20. I'd first dispute it with the credit card company, and then never, ever, use that travel agency again. I'm sorry you're having so much difficulty.
  21. If you want to drink unlimited soda on both legs, then yes, you need to purchase it for each leg. You cannot reuse the cup.
  22. Have you checked the Roll Call section of the message boards? This particular section isn't heavily read.
