  1. I don't know about a visa, but you do need proof of a measles vaccination. https://hn.usembassy.gov/step-message-for-u-s-citizens-june-28-2025/
  2. Call your travel advisor (or Royal Caribbean, if you booked directly).
  3. The way I do this is to go to cruisedeckplans.com - look up the ship and find the deck you are interested in. Find a room with photos and a photo where you can see the position of the bed. Typically every other room will have the bed near the balcony (and visa versa).
  4. Yeah, the information is only mildly useful, but just a heads up.
  5. Just an FYI for those who use them. This didn't fit into really any forum but enough people use them that I didn't want it to get buried in "People Connect". https://www.drugs.com/fda/fda-adds-warning-serious-risk-heat-related-complications-antinausea-patch-transderm-sc-p-14749.html?hash2=2761fb1bbe48b773aaf6bf6f8dd30631&utm_source=ddc&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=FDA+Safety+Alert++FDA+Adds+Warning+About+Serious+Risk+of+Heat+Related+Complications+With+Antinausea+Patch+Transderm+Sc++p++scopolamine+transdermal+system+
  6. I took you off of moderation.
  7. I had it wrong once. I simply circled the correct zone on the tags. The bags ended up where they should be. I've also just used the tags that the porter at the port have available and it's never been a problem. Don't stress about this one aspect, it's not worth it.
  8. @Irene krikorian you must contact Royal Caribbean directly by using the "Special Needs" form. This is a fan site, and not affiliated with Royal Caribbean; they will not see your message. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs
  9. Yes, you can bring fans. USB or battery powered are best.
  10. Most luggage is too big to go through the scanners when you board so it should be taken by the porters. It's typically delivered by 3pm, although occasionally it may take longer. I use a foldable, lightweight, backpack for my day bag. There are plenty of restrooms if you want to change into bathing suits and use the slides/pool. There's also locker rooms in the gyms that you can use.
  11. It depends on what ship. If it's Explorer, then no.
  12. I believe you can only get cans if you have the Deluxe Beverage Package.
  13. "In my humble opinion and my humble opinion only"
  14. Nope. The cabana protects you from the rain
  15. Yes. Your daily gratuities are for your room steward and dining staff. The beverage packages (and specialty dining packages) have separate gratuities. This is the way it works on most mainstream cruise lines.
  16. Downeast Fresh Lobster Roll on an old-school split bun, chili & lime mayo, sea salted frites & vinaigrette drizzled greens.
  17. I'm so excited for you!! Have a wonderful time!
  18. Some charge and some don't. MEI Travel (sponsor of this blog and used by many of us) do not charge clients for their service.
  19. This screams "written by the company".
  20. They are usually industrial-sized, thick, 20-30 foot cords. They may be two-plug cords, butI wouldn't plan on using it for anything else. Bringing a USB hub is so much more convenient.
  21. I've never had a problem making them when on the ship, or just walking in for lunch.
  22. As a retired zoo keeper, I've always advocated for people to not take part in holding animals on excursions, especially wild animals. It absolutely does stress them, even if the average people can't see it. I'm hoping it does become a thing of the past.
  23. If you go into RoyalCaribbean.com and find the sailing as though you were going to book it, and check "View Ports and Map" or "Explore Itinerary" it will say if it is tendered. I tried looking for you but I don't see any Odyssey sailings departing on September 26th. This is the one leaving Sept 27th.
