On our Oasis trip in February 2018, there was a documentary on the history of Royal and the evolution of the ships that played a few times during the week. Have any of you ever successfully searched for that video online? I never got to watch much of it due to show reservations, etc, and would like to see it all if available somewhere...

I was looking at Star and Sky class perks from the inspiration/bad influence of @Lovetocruise2002's Genie live blog. This was one thing that stuck out to me, since they call out Labadee's beach facility specifically. I found myself looking for itineraries that went that way instead of to Cococay. Given the dollars being invested in Cococay and the desire to send ships there, I assume there will be a equal perk, but would like to know before booking.

I had a similar "close call" for rejection. The email was received at 3PM on Friday and we boarded on Saturday.

They may be bringing it back as well...
Just got an Azamara email (still cant get RC offers, but whatever) for Cuba itineraries, and one of the trips had a Labadee stop.

Just off of Brilliance, and my wife's drink of choice to end the night was a chocolate martini in the Schooner Bar. She was wary of going off script, since they had made such a great one in the champagne bar on Oasis as noted above. The gentleman behind the bar was... methodical... but the end result was excellent. He also kept refilling her glass from anything left in his mixer so it was like 1.5 drinks, which was not bad for a non drink package cruise.

We've had a lot more success recently with the redemption (agree it used to be a... challenge), and it's been a nice way to pay down a balance or have a $500 on board credit waiting when we arrive.

Most notable for me was trying the Oasis class for the first time. I think my sweet spot is going to end up something smaller, but it was a great experience.
2019 will be a year of firsts for us:
- trying a Grand Suite
- taking the kids for spring break
- flying to a port to sail on Anthem
- Panoramic room on Mariner in the fall
Really excited for this year... but my spouse was certainly taken aback when filling out the calendar and seeing 4 reserved time slots As Matt said in the podcast, she thinks I am crazy.

The pier seems to be coming along. We were there on Sunday and it seems to be about half "done" with a solid percentage of the underwater work complete for the rest of the section.
There is a ton of construction on the island, but there was peace to be found at the more remote end of the tram line.

We had a similar experience on Oasis in early February this year with Coastal Kitchen... junior suite, locked door, sideways glances.
Finally on the last night of our sailing my wife "stalked" the door, and then once inside found a smiling face and an easy dinner reservation. I would have pushed harder earlier if I knew it was that easy.

Hello - my name is Jay and I am from the Orlando area.
My first RC cruise was on Voyager in 2003 for our honeymoon, and I was hooked on the whole experience. We took a few more between 2003 and 2008, then stopped for some reason when our daughter was born. We got back into cruising in the fall of 2016 and now I spend entirely too much time trying to plan out future itineraries.
I appreciate all of your knowledge and insights on blog and the message boards and look forward to good discussion ahead.

Hello all,
I am looking to book a New England cruise, likely from New Jersey next year for my wife's 40th birthday "present." My question to you all is what have been your positive and negative experiences with the summer version of the cruise versus the autumn version?
It looks like July and August are available on Adventure for 6 nights, while September and October are on Anthem for 9 nights. I would lean toward Anthem since she is a more interesting ship to me, but it may also be too cold on deck to enjoy the outdoor amenities and balconies...
If you have taken either of these itineraries, I appreciate your knowledge.
Thanks!

Yes sir, the geek in me wants to watch it all, but that dead link was the only promising lead I found to this point.
I'm sure there is a magical keyword out there, but I have yet to find it.
