Thank you! Let me search on the area. Have never used, but have heard of Cortans for transportation to the port, but have heard of it. Normally we like to just uber, but since the port is far from the hotel, you recommend a shuttle instead? There will be 3 of us if that makes a difference price-wise.

Thank you both. Hyatt Regency is a bit more than we want to pay, but definitely convenient. Sounds like we should just stay near the airport then and give ourselves 1hr travel time in the morning. (Port Everglades is so much more convenient...and even Miami port!)

We'll be on Wonder next March and our flight doesn't arrive until 5:30pm or so. We've never cruised out of Port Canaveral before. Would you recommend staying by the airport since it's evening? Or would you stay near the port? We are the types that like to get on the ship as early as possible. Also, we don't want to spend a lot since we won't be there for the full day before and just need somewhere to grab a quick bite and breakfast in the morning (breakfast in hotel is preferred). if staying by the port, looking at something like Best Western Cocoa Beach or Holiday Inn Express Coca Beach. If staying by the aitport maybe La Quinta Inn & Suites or Homewood Suites but please let me know if any suggestions. Thanks.

This is good. We will reach diamond after our cruise in the summer but since our son already turned 18 he missed getting Diamond status. Our younger one however will be since she's under 18. Thus, that means that for our next cruise in December, she can legitimately share 2 of her 4 drinks with her brother each day? She certainly doesn't need 4 sodas or 4 pina coladas a day so this works out well.

Since Frappuccino's weren't allowed with the card, I ordered an iced coffee with a shot of caramel. Tasted similar (without the thick consistency)

They were on our first cruise with our kids on Allure. It was so fun to see them around and of course photo ops. They even had an Aqua and ice show with them.

We didn't really have an option on our Oasis cruise in March (then again, we didn't request a time), but I preferred evening service. It worked perfectly for us when we'd shower before dinner, and then we'd return to the stateroom in the evening to fresh towels, rather than having our wet ones lying around. We'd semi make the bed and the rest wasn't a big deal.

Hello! We just booked this cruise as a short getaway for DH and I. Nice surprise as we weren't planning on a cruise until December(so exciting to see a countdown less than 90 days). Celebrating our birthdays (a bit late but we wanted to do something) and we are only a couple points from Diamond so this short cruise will get us to it. Nice that you are repeating Navigator. We've been on her once before. Great ship! Are you staying at a hotel beforehand ? Never cruised from this port before so booked based on research.

Since covid, the waterpark price and other items have increased dramatically. Obviously watch for sales but that seems to be the new norm. Last Black Friday though, they went 50% off so check this year as well.

We had the coffee card on both Liberty and Oasis. I could have sworn I used the card for a Frappuccino on Liberty back in December. However, on Oasis a few weeks ago, they refused and said the frozen drinks weren't covered. They did allow iced coffee. I added caramel shot and it tasted the same but obviously not the same consistency (except when a Frappuccino melts). Not sure if it varies from ship to ship though and if Explorer will allow it (if they even make them there as per comments above)

Thanks. That's what I thought but wanted to make sure. That's so good you are able to book seats with Delta (I assume you mean online). With WestJet, the site doesn't recognize the record locator/reference code. so we need to find time to call Yes, this is for Odyssey NYE. Same one.

When you reprice a flight using Air2Sea, do you have to rebook your seats? We are trying it for for the first time for December cruise and are booked on WestJet. We have to call them to book seats, which we haven't done so yet in case it goes down and it's a cancellation and rebook (although flight cost has only gone up so don't think it's going any lower)

I thought I read that whatever they put in the space would be included. If that's the case, then not a bar.

Sad to hear. My kids were looking forward to it on Odyssey. Hopefully they put in some other fun (safe) activity.

Exactly. Glad it's not just. Only difference is we probably will have less hair products in luggage as will put anything under 100mil in carry on as can't lose those...lol

P.S. - We are going with your way of having 1 luggage to check and then each having a carry on with the bulk of our stuff . The funny thing is, our checked luggage is 50% shoes! It's crazy but needed...sandals for the day, night sandals, beach flip flops, closed runners (for laser tag, zipline, and one of our excursion needs it). Not sure if you find the same?

Yes that's the one. Lots of regular cruisers on there. Wow, didn't realize there are so few of them in the whole fleet. Great you were able to get it when they moved your cruise to Harmony. Looks amazing! Have an awesome cruise!

Have been thinking that I bet Sabrina will start a blog soon. I checked live blogs t his morning and yah...saw your post! We will be on Oasis when you're on Harmony so will mostly follow the pre-stuff first and then have a nice read when we get back (no internet for us as we like to disconnect). This seems like such a special trip with your parents and sister's family. Sorry your other sister can't make it. That's such an amazing stateroom!!! Maybe I missed it, but what room type is that? Am not familiar with suite classes...maybe someday. I know what you mean...crazy snow last night. Fingers toes and noses crossed nothing next weekend. Safe travels. Thank you. That's good to know that in the case of a reprice for a lower cost, then they cancel and rebook. Was also thinking of the scenario if we had to cancel just him, or even if all of us before final payment to ensure no charge. Hopefully won't happen and most likely he's fine but we won't know for sure until we see his schedule.
