  1. We were on Oasis just a few weeks ago and I had one towel attendant tell me that green cards don't need to swipe for towels. Now I think she was seeing our suite sea pass card, but I never heard that suite guests do not need to check out/check in towels. I did keep checking out/checking in just in case and I never saw a charge.
  2. Why a tribute band you say? Because the bands I like are not together anymore and some of the members are dead.
  3. Keep it on Deck 8. We were on Symphony only 2 rooms from the elevators and had no noise whatsoever. Deck is more peaceful due to being on the same deck as Central Park. You will love it!!
  4. Wow!! a bottle lasts you for 2 nights? My liver aches for you...lol
  5. I meant during dinner or a show... I see people on their phones all the time at dinner and during the show and not talking with the other people at the table or watching the show. I did not mean for this to get all blow up... Take your cruise your way and relax and have fun... your on vacation!!
  6. yeah the Letz Zep was great... the Billy Idol not so much... while it was a good show it was not like Billy Idol.
  7. Awww... we had a Billy Idol tribute the week of 12/11/22. Had Led Zeppelin in Feb of this year.
  8. I was on Oasis 2 weeks ago and for Izumi you need to go there in person. While there you can book all the other venues.
  9. Parenting is not always easy. Don't take the easy way out. You should and you should teach your children's to put forth effort. Lessons learned when they are young will last them a lifetime.
  10. Why are they letting their kids go about unsupervised?? If they are older like teens then they can check in from time to time face to face.
  11. You know what? I turn off my phone and lock it in the safe. I get messages and notifications clearly and on-time when I actually talk to the people I cruise with. There is no distractions and dinner conversations are face to face. Imagine that!!?? What did you people do before we had cell phones??
  12. I do that by paying the gratuities up front as part pf my cruise fare.
  13. I was at Labadee last week... great times...go and get a labadoozie and relax.
  14. We were on Oasis last week and the Bistro was very nice and relaxed. Just a few children and they were well behaved. We went to the WJ only once just to check it out and even at 10:30 it was total chaos.
  15. We were on Oasis last week and even with a 11 am check in time we had to wait in the suite lounge for about 20 min before they let anybody board. There was no line outside the terminal and only about 30 people in the suite lounge.
  16. do it on a different day. you will need more time. don't try to squeeze your dining time.
  17. I don't cruise with children and I put my luggage out the night before and then I get a porter to take it to the shuttle bay. The less I have to carry the better.
  18. Got my dining, drink pkg all set and snagged a bungalow for Labadee. Just got off Oasis yesterday...now only 348 to go for this one.
  19. I got an e-mail for Royal up this morning for my sailing in 3 days and the cheapest bid per person is almost what I already paid for the cruise.
  20. An Oasis class out of Tampa would be wonderful, but they can't fit under the bridge.
  21. Not a service animal. Fluffy needs to stay home. If you can't leave the animal then you don't need to be cruising. I was a working dog handler in the military and have worked with the service animals for the blind and my mother currently volunteers with the Paws for Passengers at the Reno Airport. I am in healthcare now and I can't even count the number of times patients have asked me to write letters for them to take their animals with them. I have said no everytime. I know what it takes to have to need these very specialized animals and to have to them trained. Service animals cost thousands of dollars in training and everyone that wants to take Fluffy with them to the store, Dr's office, to dinner, on the plane, or on a cruise, diminishes the real service animals and does a disservice to the disabled that truly need them.
  22. yeah and it is the week of my cruise so I will miss being able to book via next cruise while on the cruise.
