  1. Yes, I am in Jacksonville. I hope CVS had gotten their stock of rapid tests. They only had PCR tests in early September.
  2. They will be here more than two days before sailing. I don't know if local testing centers allow non-US residents to be tested.
  3. If someone who is a non-US resident will be sailing with us, what options do they have for meeting the testing requirement? They will be here in the US prior to sailing.
  4. Anyone rushing (or panicking) to beat the deadline for Double Point bookings?
  5. I used Walgreen's Rapid ID Now test for my Allure sailing. I got the results after 15 minutes. No problems encountered at embarkation at all.
  6. If you want to do a little crafting, you can get a blank stocking and overlay the cuff with a nautical themed fabric (or maybe a nautical appliqué) https://www.hobbylobby.com/Christmas/Stockings-Holders/Stockings/Red-White-Giant-Felt-Stocking/p/80751722 https://www.hobbylobby.com/Fabric-Sewing/Quilting-Fabrics/Fat-Quarters/Anchors-Fat-Quarter/p/81021181
  7. You people are obsessing too much on these loyalty points... I don't even pay attention to them (wink wink)
  8. How many here believe that Royal will extend the booking deadline for the Double Points Promo? It's supposed to end tomorrow.
  9. I've been observing the trend for weeks now. If I see a reduction in available appointments before my October 18th cruise, I'll order tests from eMed or Royal.
  10. Walgreen's does rapid tests. You can schedule an appointment 2 days prior to your target date of testing. Do it very early in the morning to have more appointments available. I've been seeing more and more appointments available these days. The red icon means Rapid Test available
  11. @JOTO, you might want to change to title of this thread to something like "Dazzles on the Serenade?". It will get more attention that way.
  12. Is Vortex open to all guests? Looks like it is in an exclusive location.
  13. I don't remember seeing Dazzles on the Serenade. I've only seen it on the Harmony and the Allure, both Oasis-class ships.
  14. I’m understanding it that way too but it doesn’t sound like a “last minute” option at all.
  15. I enjoyed my cruise on the Empress. Small ship, intimate feel. I don’t care much about bells and whistles when I cruise, but I definitely don’t want a leaky ship.
  16. I don't know how to interpret the part where an appointment should be made 24 hours before sailing, 30 minutes before sailing time. Does this mean that you will not get tested at the port if you hadn't made an appointment 24 hours prior?
  17. I'm looking at Radiance and Quantum (instead of Serenade and Ovation) because I haven't sailed on them yet. Quantum gets a plus because its class is named after it. I read that the Northern Lights can be seen late August to April, that's why I'm leaning more towards a September sailing. EDIT: Ooops... I forgot the Radiance was also the name of its class
  18. As for me, I extremely dislike putting things in and out of my pocket, hence the obsession to find the right clip, lanyard, and holder.
  19. For me, it's the other way around. The eMed home test is the backup
  20. I've seen 3-4 Night cruises that are priced for budget conscious cruisers
