I've been tracking the price for a cruise I've booked for August 2019. Today's price on the RCCL website is $20+ lower than the price I have. What price difference would make you call RCCL for a repricing?

This deck plan of the Freedom shows the rooms under different categories as indicated by the color 9602 and 9606 are 1B (Spacious Ocean View Balcony) with sofa beds while 9604 and 9608 are 6D (I'm assuming no sofa beds)

@DocLC , are all cruises posted on this thread added to the list?

I didn't realize KSF was only for select sailings. My friends with kids are booked for June 2019. I asked them to looked into the present KSF promo. It wasn't available for them.

Has anyone done the Math on these promotions? How much savings do we really get?

Same here. I don't go "formal-formal" on formal nights, but I don't go to the MDR like I'm going to a beach/pool/park party

Arrrggghh ... beating myself up again for not doing more research before booking. I'll be going on my Thanksgiving/Birthday cruise on November 19 on the Serenade. I could have joined the group cruise on the Symphony.

Now I get it... that info wasn’t on the Citizenship Test lol. I was 19 in a far away country when that invasion happened. Only watched The Love Boat growing up, not US news.

I did not like any of the flavors from the Freestyle Machines. I don’t think they get their flavors syrups from the US. I got a canned Coke from the hotdog place by the Carousel on the Harmony. But that only happened once.

I only bought mine as a souvenir. They were only convenient for unlocking stateroom doors. Just as mentioned above, it becomes a "pain" to have to take them on and off repeatedly for beverage orders. RCCL has a lot to learn from Disney's use of their Magic Bands if they are to push these Wow Bands.

The cast of the Love Boat had a reunion on The Today show today. One of them said that the show "created an industry... that used to be only for affluent people." Agree or disagree? I watched this show in my native country growing up and I must admit it developed in me an interest in cruising. Add to that a good number of people in my circle getting jobs in different departments on cruise ships . Before the day of live blogs and periscopes, I would say I got to "cruise vicariously" through them. I remember saying to myself, "I'd like to go on a cruise someday". I think I'm beginning to see the fulfillment of that childhood dream.

I already have a lanyard. I just need to know if I can keep my SeaPass card in the holder when they scan it for my orders. I would hate taking it out of the sleeve every time I got beverages.

How do you keep your SeaPass card ready for beverage orders and other uses? Cards have a tendency to jump out of my pockets so I have to somehow secure my SeaPass card. But I find it inconvenient to have to take it out of my wallet everytime I need it. I don't even carry my wallet with me all the time on the ship. On the Harmony I had a WOW band but I also had to take it off every time I ordered beverages. It can get very annoying doing that several times a day. On the Majesty, the Seapass did not have RFID so they punched a hole for me to attach it to a lanyard. My lanyard had a detachable clip which made presenting the card easy. I don't know what they have on the Serenade. From what I'm reading, their SeaPass has RFID so I can't have a hole punched on it. Can I keep my card in a clear plastic holder? Will their readers be able to scan my card while in the holder? First World problem, I know.

I get what you're saying. But in my case, I'm just too lazy to figure things out. I like seeing things at a glance. I like how Norwegian and Carnival present information. Notice how with one click you see the days, dates, and even the pricing for the stateroom types. It will take several clicks on the Royal site to get that info.
