  1. So far I've seen them on the Harmony (so I'm assuming they're on all the Oasis Class ships) and on the Ovation.
  2. I'd rather have a generic card for the room's power switch. My SeaPass cards are part of my cruise memorabilia collection. I actually plan to display them in a shadow box someday. I don't even take the generic card out of the slot. The room attendant often raises it up a bit to disengage it from the switch. I just push it back in when I go into the room.
  3. It's 220V. I use this adaptor to plug in my autovolt USB charger (110-220V) https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/electrical-voltage-onboard
  4. I filled out the form on the MEI site ... let's see what happens
  5. I have been reading about the advantages of having a Travel Agent for booking cruises. I want to try it but I do not know what steps to take to do so. Is it as simple as calling them (MEI, for example) and getting them to help me? Can someone please help me? You may also want to send me a private message about this.
  6. Is there a "How to Deal with Travel Agents" tutorial somewhere on these message boards? ?
  7. Are you posting from a computer or a smartphone/tablet? On a computer, you can enter "Edit mode" for the post and double click the photo. You will have the option to resize it there.
  8. I think the footage on the promo video were from other Quantum ships. Isn't the Odyssey still under construction?
  9. On the Ovation, there is a low powered light that turns on when the main lights in the bathroom are turned off.
  10. USED GIFT CARDS: For staterooms that need them to turn the power on. My SeaPass card is in a sleeve and I don't want to get it out just to turn the power on in my room. EUROPEAN PLUG ADAPTOR: Allows the use of the outlet for US type plugs. Just make sure the item you are plugging in is rated for 220V.
  11. I have never used the services of travel agents for booking my cruises but I've been reading about the advantages of doing so in these message boards. My question is, if I have already booked a cruise with Royal (online or over the phone), can a travel agent still have my booking repriced if I endorse/transfer my booking to them?
  12. This is like an UNOFFICIAL RCBlog cruise... ha ha
  13. I just booked B2B cruises on the Odyssey ... Inaugural sailing (Nov 5) and Nov 9. Did somebody say I was a " @twangster junior?"
  14. Will the christening ceremony take place on that sailing?
  15. I saw that ... still weighing my options ... cheaper fare or double points.
  16. OK... what is special about an inaugural cruise?
  17. @firebuck and company... so excited for you. For some reason the anticipation of boarding excites me a lot. It peaks 24 hours before boarding time ? Happy cruising!!!
  18. Can we please have ball park figures of these inaugural bookings?
  19. On the Ovation, there was some confusion as to where the 3-night dining package could be used. At Fish & Ships, I was told that the Unlimited Package can be used there but not the 3-night package. At the Pub, the waiter did not know how to address the matter. He wanted to see what package I had but I actually did not have any. I was just asking for somebody else. What I’m saying is that the crew themselves are not sure about the details and fine print of these packages.
  20. @tzb, I get what you're saying in your reply. I've only been on the Harmony but I know that Oasis Class ships have almost identical construction and design. May I ask what about Oasis of the Seas made you prefer it over the Allure?
